For The Coldest Days

My go-to hand covers for most downhill ski days are the BD Impluse gloves because they are quite warm and the dexterity of a glove can be beneficial, but for the coldest days, the progression mittens are fantastic. They have a Gore-Tex lining keeps your hands dry as well as primaloft insulation to keep your hands warm. The mittens are designed to be worn under a parka or jacket, but are on the longer side which definitely helps keep the heat in and the snow out. I find the hand entrance to be just a tad on the narrow side, but the neoprene lining helps me slide the mitten on with no problems. I think the brown/tan color has been discontinued by BD, but if you find it and use NixWax to waterproof the surface, the brown will definitely darken.

Great Quality

Ordered these for those really cold days. Love them. They are a little bulky, but when it’s super cold who cares. Good quality leather and even came with some Nikwax.

Bad Sizing For Me.

The gloves are almost impossible to get over my wrists. Then after I do get them over my wrists, with assistance, way to much room in the mittens. Not usable up on the mountain.
