The shell can be used alone on warmer days. The reinforced goat leather palm stands up to rocky terrain, repeated rope handling and the wear and tear associated with dedicated mountain use.

Cold Climbing

Cold weather has returned to Ice Climbing in Canada and trigger finger mittens is the answer. The singular problem with all mittens and gloves is taking them off and putting them back on when hands get wet. These mitts are on the more positive end of that spectrum

Toasty Mitts

Took these bad boys on their debut trip up to Nipigon to climb some ice and they are stellar belay gloves. kept fingers warm and dried out easily. Waterproofing was mint and the material held up. Ready to use these for all winter sports and not just climbing.

Nice Mitts

The only issue for me is that the right insert stitch is not aligned so it runs across my middle finger interferes with the hand feel and comfort. The left one is good and if both were I could go five stars. If I were able to get a replacement medium right hand insert I would certainly be BD convert. Scooped some rain pants last year and am happy with them as well.

Good Material, Nice Gloves

New gloves for the wife. She gets cold hands and so far these have been great to help with that.

Perfect Fit

I normally wear size XL to XXL in most glove brands. I hesitated when sizing these per the size chart as it had me at a size L. I ordered per the chart and they fit perfectly. I haven't used yet so can't comment on longevity but in all appearance are well made. Looking forward to skiing with them in a few weeks.

Took these bad boys in 0f degree weather and stayed nice and toasty the whole time.

Good Dexterity And Warm

Got these to move away from mitts for alpine ascents. I love warm mitts, but there is obviously no dexterity and these solved that problem. The only improvement they could make at this price point is including wrist cuffs so you don't lose them. I like the brown color and the grip for rope and carabiners is great. Love my BD gear.

Excellent Glove!

I love the ability to remove the liner which allows me to use the shell with my other gloves thar have the needed dexterity. Allows me to build a glove system that keeps my hands warm!

Best Glove For Cold Days!

These are my go to gloves for cold winter climbing days in the Canadian Rockies. When gloves just don’t cut it (too cold) and mitts are not dexterous enough, these hybrids are the solution. Love these gloves!

Awesome Gloves!

The finger gloves are so perfect to keep warm, but still feel like you're wearing gloves not mittens. That one pointer finger helps if your buckling a boot, or strapping into a snowboard. All that while keeping your hands super warm and dry!

Warm As Heck

Incredibly warm hybrid mitts. I will note I returned them because the XL was too large for me, but I intend to order again. I don’t mind the fact they don’t have a wrist strap

Stellar And Warm

These gloves are exceptionally warm for their weight and dexterous enough to be used in cold alpine climbing environments. The liner is removeable and has a wind-stop liner so it can used as a lighter glove in dry environments. They are also more affordable (and durable) than other gloves of its kind by other brands.

Exceptional

These mittens were incredibly warm and kept my hands dry and comfortable in temps ranging from mid teens to mid 20s. They're rugged and comfy. 5/5 for sure
