Toe Bail Did Not Fit Scarpa F1

Toe bail did not fit Scarpa F1 boot. I’m wondering if there are replacement for touring boots?

Amazingly Light

Ive used these on a single ski mountaineering mission to Mt Shasta. They fit my Dynafit ski boots well. Did a great job in moderately hard snow/ice. Incredibly light. They did NOT fit my mountaineering boots that do not have a front bail, which was a bummer. . .

Lacks Refinement

The cable mechanism is neat, but frustrating that it can't accommodate a larger range of BSLs. Compared to Petzl, the value is diminished by requiring buying another cable kit to loan out to guests with smaller boots. Additionally the cables aren't easily changeable. Lastly, the heel lever is bulky, which can make the crampon unusable with Billygoat plates at a smaller setting.

Very Light, Very Packable

Great crampons, super lightweight. The updated lock for the heel is easy to use compared to older models. And they look really sweet.

Neve Crampons

Super light. Unfortunately, doesn't fit/work well with 2 of the 3 boots I use other crampons with. Best to try them out in-person with boots you intend to use them with. While all the accessories do, indeed, broaden the crampons' ability to work with different boots, it feels like Black Diamond is nickle-and-diming us for some basic flexibility that is built in to other crampons (different size cables, toe harness, heel straps, bails)... and these extras are pricey!
