It’s a little thing. I use them on all my tools. Better than what else is on the market. Great for protecting sharp tips when traveling.

The pic protectors work excellent they snug down tightly and they make sure that the pics don’t dig into my backpack. I would highly recommend them.

I love this pick protector and use it for both my whippet and ice axe when ski mountaineering. The only down side is that I seem to lose or misplace them on a regular basis... and then they're out of stock when you need one, so buy a few!
