Great Little Headlamp

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I only bought this recently so I can't personally speak to the long term durability and dependability yet. However, this headlamp had just about everything I was looking for at a reasonable price. The main reason I bought this was for the rechargeable battery which eliminates the need to always be looking for/buying fresh batteries at the start of a trip. The multiple light settings controlled by various clicks and holds of the button do take a little practice, but once you get the hang of it, its great.

First Headlamp

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently bought and just finished trying the BD revolt on an overnight camp out this weekend. It being my first headlamp, I can’t compare to others. That said, it works great. I had fun with it, trying out all the different modes. On full, it lights up the whole campsite. Strobe would work great for a signaling device. Red worked good inside my Clark blue ridge hammock. I had the bug net closed but used the red so as not to attract and bugs. I probably had the the light on for about four hours. It still has plenty of charge. I should have bought one of these years ago. I’m interested to see how long it take to recharge off my solar charger. I’d recommend this lamp to everybody.

Bit Hefty, But Worth Every Ounce

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great all around headlamp. Excellent beam intensity and range on high, wide-range customizable light levels for both red and white, good charge duration, easy charging via micro-USB, and lightweight enough to be comfortable on your head. Bit hefty as my usual headlamp tastes go, but for the features, it's well worth it, and it has served well through snow and sleet and WTF-was-that-mountains?! storm. This is definitely my new favorite headlamp for all but ultralight jaunts.
