[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just used these this past weekend. I thought the locker on the axe spikes would be sweet and that's why I bought these, but in the end I rarely locked my tools in since we were moving between ice a lot. I did fall once and my axe stuck and the leashes arrested my fall before the rope. So that was kind of neat even though they're only rated for 2 kN.

Biner Bent On Second Climb

I will likely try these again but I bought a set at Michigan Ice Fest last season. One of the biners bent so the gate doesn't close on the second climb on the first day using them. First time I have ever been disappointed with a Black Diamond product in 20+ years.
