5 Years And Still Going Strong

Great light. I wish it projected a father beam sometimes but it has never let me down.

This headlamp is lightweight and perfect for backpacking. The battery lasts a long time and the different light settings are perfect for any situation. I love it so much I keep it in my car to use between backpacking trips!

Great Headlamp

Good for hiking and camping. Very handy to have last setting be used when turn back on as well as max brightness button for when you need it. Useful battery monitor when turning it off.

Worked Great Until Rain And Cold

I purchased this headlamp for US Army ranger school thinking it would withstand the elements. After a couple cold rainy nights the headlamp just stopped working (25-45 degrees F). A buddy of mine who had the exact same headlamp had the same problem. I also prefer the old screw system over the new latch thing for the battery compartment. I don’t know if the seal on the battery compartment was the point of failure but the screw on system for the older Black Diamond headlamps seemed more rugged.

Spot 325

Comfortable fit. Bright. Lasted for 10 hours of constant use in 35-40 degrees. 2 night hikes roughly 5 hrs each... Next time I will try lithium batteries in colder weather. Overall good product. If you intend constant use, just bring spare batts that you keep as warm as possible.
