The Most Stable, Solid, Sturdy Poles I’ve Ever Had

I bought these poles a day before leaving on a 7 day hike and realizing more other poles didn’t collapse enough to fit into my checked suitcase. This pair turned out to be the best I’ve ever earned. So solid at the connecting areas. An asset on my hike!

Great First Hiking Poles

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used these on a 7.5 mile hike with 3400 feet of elevation gain -- it was constantly up and down -- and they were great. Some of the adjustment clasps were difficult to close, but once I wrangled them, the poles stayed put and didn't shrink or expand without my consent. (I've borrowed poles that shrank when I leaned on them.) These are the first hiking poles I've owned, and I'm excited to get more use out of them.

Nice… I Guess.

I should have payed more attention when I ordered them. I’m a big guy (6’-4” 270lbs.) They’re not as long as I probably need. On the plus side, they do seem to be strong. We’ll find out when deer season gets here.

Rehab Tool

I never have used hiking poles before but decided to get them in place of ski poles to help me with walking and snowshoeing during my knee replacement rehab. The height adjustment and comfortable grip was a huge ergonomic improvement over the ski poles. They work so well that I will start using them regularly during my outdoor activities.

Weight Penalty Offset By Pole Strength In Tent Or Tarp

Using these as poles with a tarp. Holding up well in gusts and under tension.

They do the job, might not be the lightest, but at this price point they do a good job

Reliable

These poles are great value for what I need. I wasn’t looking for the lightest pole but something reliable and still semi light weight. I appreciate the longer extension as I am tall. And they collapse nicely to fit on my bag. I’ve taken them on a couple hikes so far and the tips are in good shape after some heavy use in rocky terrain.

Great Feel

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My family bought me these poles for my birthday. They have been great for long hikes in the Adirondack Mountains. I am a very avid hiker and have tried many different poles. I would definitely recommend these to other hikers.

They're Ok. Expensive But Ok.

They're reasonably light and seem strong. The flick locks needed adjustment because they were unbelievably difficult to close. When adjusted to a reasonable level of force to close the flick lock, then the locks allowed the poles to slide by a couple of inches when in the collapsed position. This is due to the taper on the shaft. The lock mechanism is a poor design.

Great Poles/design/size

These were a gift and the design and style is perfect! Have tried them briefly and can tell they will be excellent for hiking.

Trekking Poles

I bought these pole for me and my 5-year-old grand daughter because of their adjustability. I use them on trips, and is she's along, I collapse them down to her size in some situation when she wants to use them (and feel like she's part of the group!). They are very durable as well!
