Love em! Light but durable. They work well on dirt, snow and ice. Extended grips are great on the steep! Send it!

These are all the trekking poles I have ever needed. They are simple and affordable and do all you need to do. I have had no issues with mine in about 12 years of using them, but mine are finally starting to show some wear.

I've been using these poles for a couple of years. They are sturdy and easy to use. One needs a screwdriver to tighten the clamps.

I haven’t used them but these poles are light and it seems made of quality materials. Only recommended buy them if they are on sale

Highly recommend these poles. I just got back from 9 days on the TMB and they were stellar! I have had the same model prior to these for about 8 years and only bought new ones as I left mine on the side of my car!!! They are light, easy functioning and great for extra stability.

These worked well on my recent backpacking trip. I do struggle with the FlickLock - it is hard to open and close, but I think I can adjust how tight they are.

I have been using pro shock more than 12 years, but one of part was vented. I bought two pole , one for part replacement, the other one for my daughter. Replacement was perfect fit. I loved black diamonds pole. I am a leader of hiking group, always recommend those poles instead of cheap weaker ones

First hike went off without a hitch. Hot day. No rubbing or blisters. Foam grips stayed dry with wet hands. Look forward to many more uses.

I took these out on a super short hike after work and I love the color and overall functionality of the poles. These were an upgrade from my mountain smiths. It did take me some time to get the poles adjusted and I’m still getting it set to just right. Other than that small issue (user error), I love them.

Let me start by saying I never write reviews. But after what happened last weekend, I figured these poles earned one. I picked up the Black Diamond Trail Trekking Poles a couple of months ago after my old pair finally bit the dust. I didn’t think too hard about it—just needed something lightweight, collapsible, and reliable for backpacking. I’ve used them on a few training hikes around northern Utah, but nothing major… until this past weekend. My buddy and I were deep in the Wind River Range doing a 4-day loop. On day two, we got caught in an unexpected storm while crossing a sketchy ridgeline between Indian Pass and Titcomb Basin. Wind was howling, rain turned to sleet, and the rock got slick. At one point, the trail completely vanished, and we were basically scrambling across boulders with full packs, trying to keep our footing. These poles were the only thing that kept me from eating granite multiple times. They’re light enough that they didn’t slow me down on the climb, but solid when I really needed to lean into them. The flick locks didn’t slip once—even after getting soaked—and the carbide tips bit into wet rock way better than I expected. What really blew me away was how stable I felt while sidehilling across loose scree at 11,500 feet. I’m not the most graceful hiker (my trail name is “Tripwire”), but I stayed upright the entire time. No rolled ankles. No falls. Just a ton of confidence in each step. I genuinely think I would’ve bailed on the route if I hadn’t had these with me. Zero regrets on this purchase. If you’re on the fence, don’t be. These are the real deal.

These poles worked out great on a mountain terrain hunting trip. Very sturdy under heavy load and easily deployed.
