Game Changer

I was never a fan of trekking poles until my friend let me borrow her Black Diamond trekking poles. It wasn't long before I purchased my own which has leveled up my "hiking game." I purchased my poles in 2021, and they are still going strong. I also love that you can add snow baskets for snow shoeing and other winter activities. They are super light weight and fold down small enough to easily fit in a suitcase. No matter where my adventure takes me, I can always have them with me.

Easy To Open/close, Light As Air

Upgraded my poles and very happy with these. I didn’t read the directions at first and couldn’t figure out how to lock them, but once I figured it out, easy peasy. These are easy to lock into place and fold up, are light as air, and perform well in mud, snow, water and rocky trails.

I Am Not A Pole

I am not a pole person but these are awesome. light weight adjustable and help esp with downhill

The Best Hiking Poles!

I've had a pair of BD Distance Carbon FLZ Trekking poles for about 7 years now, and they've been amazing! That being said, all summer I've been eyeing the women's version...not only do I like the color, but I REALLY like the addition of a bigger basket...great addition! Also, the adjustability of the strap is much better. Finally decided to spring for them, in the 95-110 length. Much better for me than the old ones (even though they are still in good shape!). Super happy with my purchase!

These poles were perfect for my wife. She is 5'1" and the small 9.5-110 size is perfect. She also likes that they are light, fold down for packing and adjustable.

Trekking Poles For The Win!

I just traveled with these poles in checked baggage and used them for lots of hiking - first on sand/rocks and then on snow hiking up Mt Rainier. The only tough thing was switching out the basket, but I guess that speaks to their durability. I love how lightweight and durable these poles are. I 10/10 recommend these poles!

Stop Right Here For Light Compact Hiking Poles

I feel so lucky to own a pair of these adjustable super light hiking poles. I can tuck them inside a daypack and don’t even notice them tagging along. They have an easy swing weight and, as a backpacker, being able to adjust the height up for stream crossings gives me the added balance assist with weight on my back.

Best Of Both Worlds

It was tough to find a lightweight folding trekking pole that also offered adjustability in length but I am very pleased that I persisted. The Black Diamond Womens Distance carbon FLZ Trekking poles are everything I hoped for including ease of collapsability and comfort in the hand.

Da Bomb!

Just took my poles out for their first adventure, a 3-day backpack trip in Bears Ears National Monument. They performed awesome. So super helpful to have, especially during all the drop in/out of all the washes in Grand Gulch. Helped my balance on all the over/under various branches also. Being so lightweight, there was no arm fatigue or neck discomfort from using them. Super easy to 'deploy' also with the quick lock mechanism. The ability to change heights is super important to me as I usually have a pole-pitch tent for backpacking (though not this trip for desert camping). Very happy with my purchase.
