Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Bicycle Pump I bought this pump to replace the same model that I bought 8 or 9 years ago, which served me without problem until recently, so I decided to buy the same model. After I ordered this pump, I noticed it had a lifetime warranty, so I called, and I am getting the parts to fix my old one to give to a friend. The issue was with the head not holding on to the valves very well any more. This pump provides enough volume to fill bicycle tires fairly quickly, and allows me to get up to the 90 pound max pressure on my hybrid tires easily. If you are looking for a floor pump, you should definitely consider one of the Blackburn Airtower models.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Problem pump finally failed 1 year later Bought this pump from Dick's about 1 year ago because I was tired of using a valve adapter with my 10year old Schwinn bike pump. Like the other reviewers stated, it has problems with Presta valves. You need to be 100% sure of good fit on the stem, and after that DO NOT MOVE the hose. Which is slightly hard to do when pumping. Now, about 1 week ago, the pump failed. It will no longer pump air, sounds like a gasket has blown. Thankfully I have my 10 YEAR OLD SCHWINN pump that still works great with valve adapter. I want to process a warranty claim, but do not know if I want the same dump of a pump back. DO NOT BUY if you ride regularly. I would not think regular use over 1 year (multiple bikes I ride >1000mi a year).

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Good luck getting your valve to seat in the chuck This will be going back to the store once im back from vacation...It worked on one presta valve on my front tire... but not the rear. Mind you these are identical and worked flawlessly with a way older pump, that has no gauge.I then put a schrader valve adapter on, and still no dice. The chuck is super thick, not allowing the valve to seal. the adapters threads werent long enough to fit in the chuck. If you have Aero wheels, or a short presta/schrader valve, you have a 50/50 shot of the valve fitting all the way into the chuck, and sealing.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Horrible Valve head blows off above 55psi Pressure gauge difficult to read

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Pump attaches easily and works well The primary purpose of inflating tires is met very well. the head attaches and detaches very easily and seals well. Good volume and solid feel to the pump- inflates tires quickly. Only issue is that, as with most such pumps, the dial gauge is not accurate (or is just miscalibrated) but then I always use my own good-quality gauge anyhow so this is not a problem. Quite new for me so no idea how well it will hold up, but so far so good.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Popped My Tire - Good Pump - Better Off Without The Gauge The pumping action is great. But the gauge was ~10psi off. It is a tight fit onto the shrader valve as well. Attempted to pump my road bike tire to 110psi as usual and it blew it. This was the front tire and now I am worried if the strength of my carbon fork has been compromised. Will be returning this.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A good choice I'm more than satified with this purchase. It's good for my presta valve. I'm reluctant to use on Schroeder valves as well because of the size difference. That was a problem with my previous pump. The construct is good; I wish the base was a little larger. Overall, I would recommend this pump.
