Weak Design, It Will Break!

The area where the splash guard meets the clamp is a weak design. Any amount of torque in that area, such as landing a small jump, will break the neck joint. I purchased it for my son's mountain bike, and on its maiden voyage it broke after my 100 lb, 13 year old landed a curb jump. Up until then it was doing a good job as a splash guard.
