Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice Solid, Quiet Trainer I stepped up to this new trainer from an old (ancient) RacerMate PiggyBack (anyone remember those? Anything would be quieter). I've only had 4 rides on this but I like it a lot. Very smooth and quiet enough to have a conversation while on it. Barely hear it through the ear buds. I only wish it had more resistance to mimic uphill. That would have gotten it 5 stars. You can work up a fine sweat on it though. I've adjusted the tension to where the instructions said and don't think I should go tighter. Seems good quality and is a great value.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good road bike trainer, bad for mountain bikes Purchased this trainer for indoor use on bad weather days. Setup was all of 5 min. Works well with my mountain bike, but it's worth mentioning that the noise from an aggressive tread tire is vary loud. Probably ok with a road bike type tire but changing the rear wheel out is more work and grease than I want on my hands. Also a rear tire and wheel for my bike cost more than an intire intry level road bike. I would only recommend this trainer for a road bike.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from User friendly I bought this so I can train inside during cold and rainy days and so my wife could ride her bike more often. We love this trainer and is quiet and easy to use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very easy to set up I had read different reviews about these trainers and was expecting some difficulty setting it up. I was so surprised. This one was very easy. I did go online to find a youtube video to supplement the instructions, which I found to be vague. Once I did that, it took me less than 10 minutes. I have a mountain bike and do concur with other reviews of these trainers; the tread on the wheel makes this quite loud. The less resistance you adjust, the quieter it is but it always has a loud hum. Some have suggested buying a cheap regular wheel for use with the trainer. I do have another road bike I can use, so I'll be switching. Don't buy the front wheel lift/stabilizer. I used an old dictionary. The whole setup is very sturdy and no wobbling at all.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Doesn't fit my bike I bought this to train in the winter inside. It was a great price but my bike doesn't fit. I will be returning it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 2 weeks in Have had this trainer for two weeks and it has been a dream. No problems. Provides decent resistance for an intermediate rider. Thumbs up so far.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works great, but... Solidly built, easy to set up, works great, BUT.. if you don’t have a quick release setup on your rear wheel it won’t work. You will likely need to convert it. Also, like in another review it’s a little loud with the typical mountain bike tire.
