Rated 2 out of 5 by from misleading The photo leads you to believe it is simple to install, what is not clear is that in order to use it safely, you have to replace the rear axle bolt. The one supplied would not work on my bicycle.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome I got this last month for my birthday and I love it. It is not as loud as I was expecting, the guy at the store said that some people said it was loud. I have it set up in my kitchen and with my teenage son going crazy on it I can't hear it in my bedroom. I love it that I can stay inside during the cold nasty winter days and keep myself in shape so when the warmer weather comes I will be ready to get back on the trails.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works great and I enjoy using it often. I like the sturdiness of the equipment. It was easy to set up and use.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Noisy, but very I really like it. I've been needing a trainer to use when I get home long after dark. This seems to be the one... Pros: 1) Easy Set up 2) Small Storage Space needed 3) Small Footprint when left out. 4) Adjustable tension is nice. 5) Gives an effective workout Cons: 1) It generates a bit of noise. This is a bit of an issue when the kids are sleeping. However, its not over the top loud. Just be aware that it is not noise free. 2) When set up the rear wheel is elevated about 3-4 inches. This makes it difficult to mount at times. My old legs (53) are not as flexible as they once were. It also give the feeling of riding down hill. I'm planning on building a elevated platform for the front wheel to level it out. 3) Tension is not even (constant). There is a slight tightening and releasing as I peddle through the arc. I suspect however its the difference in my power stroke as my right leg lacks some power due to injuries. I suspect its in the down stroke of my weaker leg that the magnetic force holds tight. I do not much issue with this as I reach higher cycle rates. 4) The Tension Adjustment Lever does not have a quick release which makes it more time consuming to set up, but just barely. It connects to the left side of the bike which is not my preferred side. I wish it had come out of the right side of the trainer, but the cord is long enough to accommodate. Overall: I recommend this for light activity at home and it seems to be really good value for the cash. Its not a stationary life cycle, but it fits my needs, space, and budget just about right. JRS Disclosure: I've only been using it for about 2 weeks.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Ridiculous By far the worst designed product I have ever used for a bike. First off when I took it out of the package it was in awful condition. Went to ride it and I broke the setting selector then jerry rigged it to the handlebar and broke the selector itself. The bearing fried out in seconds when I actually got to do a sprint. Made my bike just about fly off because I had it in my hardest setting and when the bearing fried the pin stopped spinning. Just awful awful product. Not worth $5 let alone $170.
