Rated 5 out of 5 by from Comfortable Paddle Holster Easy to assemble. Two options for installing via belt-loop system, or for paddle. I personally prefer the paddle due to comfort. Stays secure inside the waitband with the internal hook, as well as the hooks used for the belt. Very easy to "strap on" in seconds without having to undo my trousers and belt. Nice option to adjust for cant (my preference is cant forward on right hand side due to driving). Release button takes a little getting used to (formerly used leather, forward-cant thumb break). Quicker to draw. Passive retention screw easy to adjust. Reasonably priced. Made in America. Please train and re-practice drawing with this unit before a stressful situation occurs.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Decent holster, FN options are limited Holster fits but has excess material to accommodate a FNS longslide. Great if you have the longslide, but the holster is oversized as far as length for those of us who don't. The retention system leaves your trigger finger placement exactly where it should be but that's the only positive so far. The instructions also leave much to be desired as to there is zero mention of proper installation for the paddle retention hooks. Bottom line looks like I'll be requesting a refund and am back in the market for a proper fitting FNS holster.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good holster, but still not the best I've been using Blackhawk Serpa holsters since I started carrying concealed a couple years ago, and I have one for both my S&W SD40VE and Glock 22. The build quality is great, and even after years of use I've never had one break or fail. It's not my favorite holster by any means, as I dislike the positioning of the active retention mechanism, but the modularity keeps me coming back. My biggest problem with this holster is that it has worn the finish on my Glock's slide to an excessive degree in a short period of time. I understand that all holsters will wear a firearm's finish with use, but I've never had a holster that's worn through it so quickly. That said, I still think the Serpa CQC is a very good holster option.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from OUTSANDING HOLSTER!!! When I bought my first SERPA CQC Holster, the world of buying a slew of different holsters (OWB) came to a screeching halt! I now have one for my Glock 23 and 42! as a matter of fact, I'm buying a Glock 26 and I already have the holster for it! I'm going to purchase one for my M&P 45C. The bottom line is once you get the holster on and understand the ease of operation, you will instantly fall in live with it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good, Better, BEST I bought my first SERPA after I saw the guys in plain clothes wearing them and saying good things. I said what the heck if nothing else one more holster to my holster collection. WOW was I wrong in having doubts about this holster. Smooth fast draw, the weapon is locked in very secure. and so comfortable I forget I have it on. I have both a model 17 & 22 GLOCK that shares a SERPA as well as model 26 & 27 GLOCK that share. My trusty 1911 also has a SERPA. Thanks to this holster I now have a large box of leather, nylon and cloth holsters.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Holster I just purchased this holster after having never owned an auto pistol holster before. I'm very interested in CC and am ready to commit to a firearm and holster. I purchased an S&W MP 9 and this is one nice pistol. I was not interested in the polymer framed pistols but when I picked this pistol up I knew this would be a great carry pistol. I liked the looks and quality of the Serpa CQC and the price was what I could afford so I bought this holster. After using it I found it was easy to use and very comfortable to wear. The pistol never felt like I was going to lose it and this made wearing it even more comfortable knowing all was secure. As for shooting with it, ease of withdrawal of the pistol made it a pleasure to use and own. To top it all off it look's great. You won't be disappointed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Durable & Dependable! I have open carried a Glock 27 every day for the last 5 years using a Blackhawk CQC holster. I have never had the slightest issue with the locking mechanism. I wear it when I am mowing the lawn & weed eating so it is dusty dirty work. Never had the lock fail to function. Always releases and locks my weapon in smoothly. It looks nice enough I can wear it with blue jean or dress slacks. Brush it off, wipe it with a damp cloth.. it looks like new. I highly recommend this level II security holster... especially if you open carry.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Love the holster but not for this gun I have no complaints about the quality of the holster. I have several that work fine with other pistols. Just be aware, if you have a square slide 1911 (primarily Sig Sauers) this holster WILL NOT work. It will only fit round slide 1911s unless you spend hours meticulously grinding the internals. I moved my Springfield 1911 to it and it drops right in like it is supposed to fit. Just wish I'd known it wouldn't work for the Sig before I shelled out the bucks.
