Bad Design And Bad Drilled Hole

I was really excited to use the grill but I cannot pass step 1 of the installation guide due to a bad manufacturing defect on the tray that stabilizes the legs. The drilled hole on the tray was not only drilled poorly but it does not align with the hole that’s on the right leg (photo attached.) It would been nice for the legs to able to lock in on its own. If someone from the manufacturer can contact me and replace the tray it would be greatly appreciated
