Got for my son to use this summer as a newer pair. Love that the sizes adjust. Skates work well and glide nicely. He loves them

Bought these for our son, and I’m excited that the fit was right and that it goes all the way to size 8. Works well on streets and he is getting used to sidewalk and driveway. Overall, very satisfied

I bought a similar style for my boys, but that one brought pads and this one does not. The one plus is that my daughter has a wider foot that her brothers, and this seemed to accommodate her foot better.

I bought these for Christmas for my son who already knows how to skate. He has fallen a few times, and already he's broken the locking mechanism on an ankle by falling on it. I would expect that rollerblades would be built in a way that falling less than 10 times wouldn't break them. They're cool looking and easy to put on, but I wouldn't recommend them.

The toe box has almost no padding and you can feel the hard plastic around the foot when trying to skate. The manufacturer normally sells this model for half the price here. For grade 3 bearings, don't pay more than 60. These barely roll when trying to skate. I would only recommend grade 3 bearings for very small children (5-10). If they are older than 10 and more athletic, get a better bearing grade like ABEC 5 or 7 or else they will barely get anywhere and it will take so much work and it will make skating very tiring and could be painful for the feet. The lack of padding in the toe area will definitely cause pain. I wanted my neighbor (10 y/o) to try them on and she wanted to take them off immediately because of the lack of padding. I got these because I am women's size 5.5-6 and children's skates fit me. My size in these were youth size 2, so not sure if these run large or not. I am usually size 4 in kid's shoes. If you want to invest in skates look for a better quality pair. Luckily Dick's has a good return policy and I was able to easily return in store.
