Solid Equipment

I purchased the Body Solid OB47B Olympic Curl Bar a few weeks ago. I love it. It is well built and should meet anyone’s expectations. When I received the bar, it was covered with exes grease for shipping. It came with a small toe tag note explaining the grease. I only wish the note was in a bigger size to draw quicker attention to it.

Very Good Bar!

I got this bar about a month ago. I started using it out of the box as soon as I got it. I had to clean the sleeves because they don't spin as freely nor as quuietly as they should. I bought a 12mm Hex Wrench so I was ready to clean them. The bolts were tight, but not as tight as bolts I had on the Tricep Bar that I also have. The bolts were a little dirty. I had to brush off some grime from the threads. After greasing the contact points, the sleeves spun freely and quietly. The black finish looks good and it also protects the bar from rust.
