Rated 4 out of 5 by from Bogs and 1/2 sizes The Bogs boots are great and I have no problem with the boot itself, just a little issue with the sizing. I am a perfect 10 1/2 and that size is hard to find. So, when I ordered the boots online I ordered an 11 like I normally do for other styles and usually I can make them work. But the 11's in the Bogs were HUGE! My feet were not anywhere close to making this work. Since they do not have 1/2 sizes in this style boot, I exchanged them for a 10. While they do fit in width, the length is just a touch small for what I would normally like to wear. My toes are just touching the end. It's not uncomfortable, just not ideal. Everything else about the boots I love. I live in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan and they have been ideal for the conditions here.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Servicable, durable, but .... Bogs makes a great product & when I found one that really worked a couple of years ago I celebrated, only to find the same product or nothing like it since. These boots are serviceable and I'm keeping them because I'm desperate to find something I can navigate in when weather is bad. I understand my foot is not run of the mill (narrow, 7-1/2) so to make these doable I wear heavy socks and orthopedics & they still are very roomy allowing for side to side foot movement. If you have the average medium width foot I think you would love them. The previous pair (now on their last legs) had a slimmer last and elastic gussets that made them comfortable and workable. I would explain fit issues before recommending these.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Boots! These boots are great. My only complaint is that they are slightly too wide around the top/calf, which causes rubbing, making lots of walking or long-time wear uncomfortable. Although this makes them easier to get on/off, I would sacrifice that any day for better comfort. They don't 'hug' my legs as nicely as my older, tall-size bogs. This also allows the cold air access into the boot, which makes them not quite as warm. I thought I would be replacing my old pair, but now I wear the new pair when I'm out and about, and have kept my old pair for shoveling the drive, and for play, as the taller pair are warmer but worn. Bogs makes the best winter boot, in my opinion. I have had many brands over the years, and these are by far the warmest, and hold up the longest (compared to Columbia, North Face, etc.)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect Cold Weather Boots I've had these boots for 3 years, and wear them daily in the winter, sometimes all day/night. I live in Northern Michigan where the weather is cold, snowy with some ice and slush thrown in for good measure, and these boots handle it all perfectly. I wear them back and forth to work every day, wear them for shoveling the driveway, and also most tellingly they are my go-to for calls with our fire department's EMS unit in the winter. They are quick and easy to put on as I'm running out the door, are much better on the ice than my tactical boots, easy to move in, don't mark up patient's floors and with an extra comfortable insole can withstand standing around fire scenes all night long. Only once have my feet gotten cold and that was after 6+ hours in -25 temps. I jumped in the truck, warmed up for a few minutes and was good to go the rest of the night. They are extremely comfortable (I also tend to wear shorter socks and I have never had a proplem with the boots rubbng on bare skin, even after 12+ hours of wear), durable and resiliant. I have walked through, stepped on, waded in, kicked, pushed and touched things in these boots you wouldn't even begin to want to know about and they still work, feel and look great! I would definitely recommend these to anyone who spends extended time in the cold. I do wish they came in 1/2 sizes and I'd say that they're a touch wide, which can make them somewhat bulky. Having different width options would be nice, but neither of those factors are enough to make me not love them!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great boot for VT winter! I ordered these boots because I was tired of having cold toes while going for walks in the winter. Since these boots arrived I have worn them nearly every day. They are comfortable and warm and keep my feet dry all day long. These boots are so well insulated that it's not necessary to wear super thick socks (as I always used to do with other boots). I like that the boots have a thick sole because my feet stay warm even when walking in snow and slush. I am happy that I no longer have to worry about having cold feet when I go out to enjoy some fresh air!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great quality and design! Love my new Bogs. They are a solid quality pair of boots. I got them to wear at the dog park when there is snow, mud, wet grass and whatever else I may step in. Every other shoe or boot I've worn there allows moisture in at the sole and my feet would be soaked by the time I left. That cant and won't ever happen with my Bogs. Easy to put on and a nice stable sole. The 2 things that are disappointing are my own issues really. #1 I ordered women's size 10 but my toes went all the way to the end of the boot (that was with a thin sock on) so I returned them and got size 11. Now, even with thick socks, my heel slips up some when I walk, so with each step it ratchets my sock down over my heel. I wish I could have gotten a 10.5 but that size wasn't an option. #2 My husband got a new pair of men's Bogs at the same time. What I noticed is that his boots have a little bump on the back above the heel so you can use the other foot to hold it in place to take it off. My boots don't have that and so it's harder to take mine off. It's certainly not graceful and if they are dirty, my hands get messy. It is a really nice feature that seems to only be available on mens boots. (Full disclosure - while waiting for my size 11s to come, I used my husband's boots when I cleaned snow off the driveway one day. That's how I noticed this feature that helps get the boots off. Loved it!) Even with those two issues, these are the best boots I've ever had. They are warm and comfortable. Great quality and design! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love my new boots! I love my new boots, and they came just in time for a blizzard! Easy on, easy off. Having had a hip replacement, I need a boot that's easy to get on and off and still provided me with warmth and security. This boot had all, and more. If I had to buy another pair of boots, I would definitely buys these again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Finally boots that don't tear up my feet I have lived on a horse farm all of my life. Almost every boot/clog/ shoe I have ever worn blistered me, or caused splits in my feet. These boots don't. My feet are finally healing. My feet are warm and dry. I don't have any blisters. This has been a problem for me for decades and it is such a relief to find such nicely made boots. In the past I have been forced to wear leather boots out in the mud so I can save my feet. It is so much easier to clean these. I love the plaid. Most boot companies offer geometric or flowery designs but I haven't seen plaid in years. I can feel more 'professional farmer' than ' a girlie who might not be taken seriously'when wearing this pattern. And yet they are not boring blah plain black either. Yes, I love the plaid so much I bought another pair. I wanted to buy them in eiach plaid you had and I had to give myself a firm talking to so I stayed on budget. Please keep making these boots. My poor feet are finally happy.
