Stop reading this review and buy a pair already! I work on a farm and spend a lot of time in the backcountry. Whether it's walking around camp or rising early to milk goats, these shoes are a new favorite for me. The hard sole keeps whatever is underfoot from bothering me and helps insulate from the cold ground. My only complaint is they are definitely a warm waterproof shoe so after a while my feet sweat. I have to take them off every once in a while to let my feet dry out.

I usually walk around the house barefoot or in socks. Now that it's cold I will slip these on before going outside briefly. They are cozy and warm but they run a little big I think. I have a narrow foot and usually I'm an 8.5 so I bought size 9 and they are roomy. I got a size 8 for my mom and those fit me much better. I figure that I may wear socks with these so I kept the 9. The sole was slippery on our wood floors initially but now that I've worn them outside a few times they don't slip.
