Our 2 Person Bote Kayak Purchase
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My wife and I recently purchased the 2 person Bote Kayak. Delivery was exactly as scheduled, kayak came separately from the paddles. All was packaged perfectly. The simple instructions are exactly what is needed. Preparing the kayak for use is simple inflating, using the included pump. It works just as the instructions say. We have had the kayak out 4 times, and we are so loving it. It is so stable, the seats so easy to deal with. Getting in and out of the boat is so easy compared to the hard shell sit in kayaks we previously used. We are sitll figuring out all the ways we can move around to further enjoy this! Like moving all the way forward, or backward, and straddling the ends to put legs in the water (and paddle from there if you want), to sitting sideways with legs in the water, to jumping/diving off to swim (getting back on is not that hard, and I'm 75), to fishing (you can stand up when you want). You can do so much on this kayak that you cannot do in a sit-in kayak. Also, my wife and I are absolutely loving doing it together, in the same boat. Floating down rivers is our next adventure. The main reason we decided to get an inflatable kayak was its portability in transport, and we love this aspect as well.
