Great And First, Downhill Fast.

Looked great at first. Took a little longer to set up and break down than advertised. But then small pieces started having issues. Then my fifth time out the steering broke in the middle of a massive lake. They sent me incomplete replacement parts and I had to complain again to get them to send a new steering system. Really regretting not getting a hard kayak. The pros do not outweigh the cons in build quality, time to set up/break down, and lack of thorough customer service or maintenance instructions/information.

Love, love, love my Bote!!!! Built very well and designed with great detail. Can't wait to get out on the water and try it out - this is my first BOTE purchase but it certainly won't be my last!

I bought it for myself for Christmas because I have been such a good person this year! I had my last kayak stolen and I never thought I could replace it. The sadness followed every time I thought about the water and then I saw the Lono. Fell in love with it at first site so I got a present for myself, opened it and blew it up, put it together and now it sits in my living room waiting for the warm spring months where I can realize my dream and fish the way I want to fish again and slay the bass that are waiting for me.. Winter Time In Ri

Have not been able to use yet, we live in RI and it is winter time here, I like the quality and the versatility.

Fun But Has Design Flaws

This kayak is awesome! But it did come with a couple of weak looking spots that I am concerned about. I'm not thrilled as this thing costs quite a bit of money. It also requires more work to get set up and get started than you would think. The pump is great and worked both on up and down motion but having to screw things in is a pain. The tools should really come on a magnetic box so they can't fall in the water. Also do not like that you have to carry around the screws for the pedal drive…those will definitely get lost at some point. The pedal drive is nice but only has one setting which gets tiring much quicker than paddling.

Lono Is Awesome!

Great customer service and product. Love being able to deflate a kayak and store it easily. My only request is to have the lono with an integrated standardized system to hang/attach rod holders at your hand position while sitting. This would allow something to hold the rod while trolling and pedaling. I have made a custom system to allow rod attachment near the rudder/steering system. Also a taller chair that does provides better back support and stronger straps to account for great weight and positions.

Lono Aero 12'6"

Well constructed, and great design. However, quite a bit heavier than I expected so difficult to transfer to launch. It would have been great if the wheel trolly for the SUB with the balloon tires would fit on the LONO Kayak. Seems like a simple design change to make the trolly work with the LONO. Other than that…..great product.

Best Inflatable Raft Ever

I'm a big guy 6'3 265lb and I can stand up and cast my fishing pole from the back or from the front kayak I continue to spend countless hours on the lakes and rivers what a great purchase and if you're thinking about it just go ahead and get it you're gonna fall in love like the rest of us did thanks again guys this is an awesome kayak awesome

Amazing Boat

This boat is so fun and comfortable! I've had a total hip replacement and two back surgeries so comfort is #1 for me! I have used it on the river as well as lakes and this thing rocks!
