Bowflex Quality Control Lacking

I purchased my Bowflex T6 on 7/7/26 from Dick's Sports. I unboxed and installed it, on July 8'th. However, when I started it a loud clicking noise came from under the front cover at the motor and increased as I increased the speed. Instead of reboxing and transporting the 300+ pound treadmill back to Dick's, I decided to fix the problem myself after contacting Johnson's customer support. The clicking sound was caused by the speed sensor encoder round metal disc not seated correctly and wobbled on the motor shaft. I had to remove the speed sensor assembly and reinstall the encoder ensuring it was aligned correctly on the motor shaft. I reinstalled the speed sensor assembly, started the treadmill and the clicking sound was gone. A $1000 treadmill should not leave the warehouse making clicking sound. Every unit should be tested before it is boxed up.

So Far So Good For Incline Walking

This is my second BowFlex treadmill as the 1st one lasted 8.5 years before electrical issues caused the incline to stop working. Treadmill is very solid and responsive. I like the new controls on top to change speeds. Treadmill is an A and the electronics are an F for me as I don't use Apple or Samung and can not get the JRNY app to work. What happened to the Bowflex App. Trying to hook up to Garmin but needed an additional heart rate monitor. Very quirky on the electronics. Probably better on some of the other brands that have more modern screens and apps. This one feels solid and I did not want to have to pay monthly subscription fees. I can live without the electronic integration as long as the treadmill lasts

Bowflex Is Horrible

HORRIBLE MACHINE!!! DO NOT PURCHASE!!! I purchased and have not even had 1 year and it’s been broken down more than operable. Currently waiting for going on 2 months for a part that is out of stock from bowflex. Their customer service sucks!!! Basically they don’t give a 💩 if your machine is not working!!! Spent over 1,000 for a crap machine. WILL NEVER EVER EVER PURCHASE BOWFLEX AGAIN!!!!

Bowlflex T6 Treadmill

Purchased this 2 weeks ago free demoing multiple machines from various manufacturers. This was the most bang for the buck. Solid construction. Ultra comfortable track. Many others in the same price range felt flimsy in comparison.has all the bells and whistles that were desired including sync to watch / fitness for daily tracking. While more expensive units have a 24” LED display, we chose to invest in a 43” Samsung TV which allows for iPad display casting as well as the full you tube workout videos. This eliminates the need to subscribe to high priced apps. Highly recommend this unit.

Easy Assembly And Works Great!
