My First Treadmill-great No Subscription Required Easy To Use!

This is the first treadmill I’ve ever owned, and I couldn’t be happier with the Bowflex T9. I’ve used plenty of treadmills at the gym over the years, and I can confidently say this one is equal to if not better than what I’ve trained on at commercial gyms. One of the standout features for me is the NFC Apple Watch integration. Being able to simply tap my Apple Watch to the console and instantly start a workout removes all friction. No setup, no logging in just tap and go. That convenience alone has made it easier to stay consistent day after day. Seeing my real‑time heart rate and distance displayed directly on the screen is a huge win. I don’t have to guess how hard I’m working or constantly check my wrist. Everything I care about heart rate, time, pace, and distance is visible and accurate, which helps me train smarter and stay in the right zones. From a performance standpoint, the T9 feels rock‑solid and commercial grade. It’s incredibly stable, even at higher speeds, and the deck cushioning is noticeably easier on my joints compared to most gym treadmills. That makes longer walks and runs far more comfortable and sustainable. The incline and decline features add real variety and make workouts feel more dynamic and realistic, and the treadmill runs quietly, which is perfect for home use at any time of day. What really surprised me is how much I don’t miss the gym treadmill experience. Having this at home means: • No waiting for equipment • No distractions • Better consistency • The same (or better) quality whenever I need it For a first‑time treadmill owner, this has been an incredible investment. It fits seamlessly into my lifestyle, supports my health goals, and actually makes me want to use it. If you’re considering your first treadmill and want something that truly feels gym quality at home especially if you use an Apple Watch. The Bowflex T9 is absolutely worth it.

Nice Treadmill, But Came Broken

This treadmill is solid and takes a bit to install it and get it in place, but it looks nice once it’s all together. Unfortunately, it came broken and it’s very frustrating spending so much money on something and having to wait for customer service to handle the claim. The hearts censors on the handles do not work and the STOP button doesn’t work so you have to pull the emergency key and then unplug it from the wall while waiting for customer service. If these features weren’t broken, it would be a solid treadmill.

Disappointed

I have now had it for 4 months and no issues with the actual performance. My issue is with the programming. You cannot just jump on and start a manual workout. Even the "manual" preset requires you to pick which user, confirm your weight, select your starting incline and speed and set your duration. If you happen to get interrupted for more than a couple of minutes, it ends your workout. Should be able to hop on and hit start, then set your desired speed and incline.

Terrible Customer Service

I bought one of these at the end of January. After assembling, I noticed that the console was hanging open. There is a screw missing that should have been installed at the factory that allows it to pop open. I called customer service that day, they opened a ticket and told me I would get an email to folow up. I gave that a week and made another call. After another week, I filled out an online service request. Customer service finally sent an email requesting model information and serial number that I had already submitted. I’m still waiting for a planned repair, four weeks after initial request.

Buyer Beware, Bowflex Does Not Stand Behind Their Products And Openly Lies About Performance.

Within <20 miles of use with this treadmill I observed an error message on the display. I (215 lbs) was walking on the machine at a 3.0 speed and pushed it to 15% for a nice workout. The unit flashed an error message and dropped the unit automatically down to 12% incline. This happened three times in a row as the belt rapidly increased in speed. I contacted Bowflex directly and received a reply in 2-weeks…. They responded that unit is designed to slow down if the belt speed is faster than the speed it was set too. No parts or updates can resolve this issue. Bowflex states that the treadmill is working correctly when it can not operate at the advertised incline with a low speed. All buyers should be very aware that they do stand behind their products and falsely advertise equipment specifications.
