Skipped For Chicago Marathon

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought these with the intention of making them my go-to race day shoes to complement my Hyperion Max 3s as trainers. The bottom line is they are SO light and SO thin that even though I packed them in my luggage, I opted to not use them the morning of the Chicago Marathon and went with the Hyperion Max 3s. I had run 20 miles in them so far in 5 mile increments and I just don't have confidence in them. They wear like slippers and I was worried my feet would be absolutely killing me after 26.2 miles. So, I will give them a shot for 5ks up to 13.1 but no more. And at that price, is way too much to purchase again. The Max 3s are simply good enough to be both trainers AND race day shoes. Brooks, the tech on these are mind-blowing but please add some more cushion to these shoes, in particular towads the toe box, to make them marathon-worthy. I only weigh 150 pounds and feel like these are designed for 100 pound flyweights.

Light & Springy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These shoes are as light as a feather and feel springy as well as propelling me forward with each step! After running in them for a few weeks I have noticed one shoe has a sticky click sound to it, not sure if something inside the shoe is sticking. When I first put them on was a little worried because it felt like my heel may roll off the shoe but after running in them I have grown used to the feeling. I love these shoes, i do wish they were a little wider but plan to keep them!

Gotta Have Another

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This shoe is really good and very fun to race in. Used them for a recent 5k and his a new time by a minute. They felt great and soft with that responsive feel as you pick up the pace. The upper is airy and kept my feet cool throughout. Hoping to get a second pair of these soon cause of how much I've enjoyed them.

Getting There But Too Unstable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Although they provided very comfortable snug fit, great cushion and the new plate is responsive, the lateral instability is too much. Even when running on the slight canted side of a normal street, I felt one misstep away from a turned ankle. Going around corners is just as nerve racking.

Love them! Took 29s off my 5k time first time out! Really bouncy and a bit unstable but really fun to run in
