Love The Color, Comfort, Fit, Everything

Ran my first half marathon in these and loved every second of it. The cushion held up and felt comfortable for the duration of the race. As someone with wide feet, I was worried about how they may feel on foot but the Hyperion Elite 5 works very well. I didn’t struggle much with the lack of heel lock I’ve read so much about though I was still careful around corners and sharp turns. All in all, a very fast shoe in my opinion and I’m looking forward to my next race.

Not For Me

Tried out Brooks Hyperion 5 Max Elite shoes… Not crazy about these…they feel hard/spongy but don’t give too much. Going to return them. Not flexible or cushie enough IMHO (they are true to size and bright n pretty). REALLY LIKED HYPERION 2 and wish BROOKS TO BRING THEM BACK 😇

Incredibly comfortable shoe. With that said, I have only run 6 miles in them and the soles have begun to wear through.

this is my shoe for my up coming half marathon. the shoe's upper is amazing. never thought i would rave at laces . buty the laces lock up nicely. the shoe in general is light and has a very springy pop feeling. keeps the cadence high, even without trying too. had to sprint through a very tight corner to avoid a car. After the shock of being runned over wore off, i notice theses shoes accelerate fast through turns. its responsive and springy, but also stable with the foot strike. if you want ideas on how to improve: I would like to see how these shoes are with a more aggressive toe spring (voc might be wrong), plus a more cheaper price would also help too, I

Just Mid For The Price

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I feel like I owe my ability to do run painlessly almost exclusively to Brooks Glycerins and Hyperion Max so I really wanted to stay loyal to the brand for my race day shoes. Bottom line is that for me, the Hyperion Elite’s have a great upper but the foam is too soft and not responsive enough. I felt much quicker in my Nike Vaporflys but they kill my legs. If you like pretty cushy race shoe, these may be for you.
