[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was looking for a lightweight pair of running shorts with a breathable liner and decided to try these out. They fit great and the liner is very comfortable. I'm 5'8" and 170 pounds, and the Medium is just the right size for me. They don't slide around while running, and have plenty of stretchiness for a wide range of motion. The only drawback for me is they don't have a phone pocket in the inner liner. I can run with my watch and leave my phone behind, but much prefer keeping my phone on me. They are one of my go-to shorts for training runs or just wearing around the house. A phone pocket on the inner liner would make them even more valuable to me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall a very nice fit. Nice liner with useful pocket and outer material seems light and breathable. Excited to put some miles in and test the durability, had a few strands of stitching come loose in the pocket. The only suggestion would be zippers for the pockets. Overall a quality running short that I'm going to be very happy with.

Lightweight with a secure fit. Stays in place and feels great during training.
Comfortable and look good. Useful pockets, but would be great to have an elasticised phone sleeve in the pocket.

Great short and super comfortable, size is perfect

Great shorts but the sizing is off. Large shorts are always the right size for me in shorts and never had to wear a belt/tie up drawstrings. These shorts are the first large I've had to tie them up. The compression shorts underneath also are basically just second shorts underneath since they're too big to have any compression. Only complaint is the sizing

I like the 2-in-1 shorts, but the side pockets have no zippers. Stuff bounces out during the run so the side pockets are useless. There’s no other pockets. So this shorts are not practical for running or jogging … I usually fit well in size XSmall, but not this one. The front fits well but the back is too loose/roomy.

My first 2-in-1 shorts, and oh boy, what a pair! They fit snug and hold my phone to perfection 👌. Such great run shorts! 🙌

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The shorts are nice and comfortable! They go down about mid thigh and helps keep from chaffing while running. Also, they are wide in the thigh for more comfort. There is a lot of good stretch in them and they fit just over the belly button which I find the most comfortable.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Dash 2in1 shorts fit great and were comfortable. The built in underwear is tied nicely to the outer layer so you never have to worry about getting in an uncomfortable situation. The pocket in the underwear allows for snug storage of a phone allowing you to jog without things bouncing around. It’s also placed further back so it moves with your leg instead of shifting around. These shorts enable you to run with freedom.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Brooks Dash 2-in-1 shorts fit true to size overall. The outer short fits well and feels dialed in, while the built-in liner is comfortable but could benefit from being slightly looser. During runs, once the liner bunched up, it tended to stay that way unless I manually adjusted it, which was a minor annoyance. The fabric feels great on the run, lightweight, smooth, and comfortable against the skin. Nothing about the material felt restrictive or abrasive, and it held up well throughout daily runs. From a quality standpoint, these shorts feel very well made and durable, giving confidence they’ll last with frequent use. The standout feature is definitely the built-in liner. Despite the snugness noted above, it provides good support and contributes to the overall comfort of the short. Performance-wise, the Dash 2-in-1 handled daily runs well and never felt heavy or distracting while moving. Overall, these are high-quality, comfortable running shorts that I’m looking forward to wearing often. With a slightly looser liner, they’d be close to perfect, but even as is, they’re a solid addition to a regular running rotation.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought these for cross training, but have worn them mostly for running lately. I tend to stay away from the 2 in 1 for running, but have really enjoyed these! They are very comfortable and breathable. I live in the south and they held up well in extreme heat and were very breathable and did not get soaked or heavy with sweating. In the gym, they stood up to cross training and lifting heavy without any issues. Will definitely be adding a few more of these to my rotation!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got these shorts for my husband and they immediately became a new favorite. I’m ordering more for his birthday! He’s tall and lean but does CrossFit in addition to running, so he has thick thighs. Finding shorts/pants that fit in both the waist and the thighs has been a challenge, but these fit the bill. Some bullet points: -Waistband is non-pinching -Liner fits nicely, reduces chafing -Athletic sizing/fit -Mobility is good while wearing -Feel very supported Will absolutely be purchasing more and am going to look to see if there’s a women’s version too!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The compression liner provides great support and fees secure. I like the clean minimalist design. Thank you Brooks for sending me this free pair to test.
