It’s a well-made shoe I think. The sole is thick with some good rubber that gives one confidence. The upper is breathable yet still a high quality material. My only issue with the beast is the harder material in the heel area and the drop which I am told is less than other brooks models. I’d prefer a flatter shoe and softer material for the heel. But I do like the build quality of the shoe. It’s great that they’ve not dropped the quality of their shoes too much, as many brands often do often with the excuse of “sustainability.” And I like that they have it in many sizes and widths. I wish they made a 13.5. Also I like their color choices, although I’d like to see their blue and white colored sneakers from a couple of years ago back. But the navy blue is still good enough. But bring back the royal blue and white PLEASE!
