[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Best of the Beast since '20. I have been wearing Brook's Beast model for decades. The last pair was a huge disappointment but Brooks has definitely resolved the issues. This new Beast has great cushioning and still offers that "feet to the ground" experience that we have come to expect. It also has a very wide toe box. I typically wear a 10 4E but the 102E actually fit better than the bigger width. The traction is great and I find it true to size. A small raise in cost but definitely worth it in my book. I really like the longer, wider laces and the slightly thicker tongue. It sounds strange to me to notice something like that but it definitely is an upgrade over the previous model. I pronate extremely badly but with these I don't think I could roll my foot if I tried. They are literally that stable and secure feeling. I also have flat feet. Not sure how, but this a non-issue for these Beasts. One thing that really stuck out to me is how nice the Brooks shoe 8nsert is in this shoe. It is nothing like the standard "paper thin" insoles that are on nearly all Brooks running shoes, but a far thicker and supportive almost gel like feel. I use custom orthotics for all of my shoes except for these. The insole that it comes with is certainly not like a custom orthotic, but far better than all of the other insoles that I have seen. I also like the "grey" color option. There are only 3 offered colors in 2E, and a mere 2 in 4E, but this grey color is quite nice. I have even received compliments from others in the short time that I have owned them. Dislikes, of course it is heavier than most of my shoes but that comes with the territory when wearing super supportive shoes like these. Really no other complaints or things that stick out to me at this time. Highly recommended for anyone dealing with foot issues as these are the best option that I have seen. Great job Brooks, and please don't make any unnecessary changes.

For reference I’m 6’4” 215 running 10-15 miles a week. Was looking for a shoe that would hold up to some 10+ mile runs. After two runs in the beasts. Had to return. Cause some ankle pain, soreness in calves and would slap the ground in downhills. Shoe was fine, good quality could tell the foam was durable just didn’t fit well with my stride. Would be better for gym sessions or walking.

For reference im 6’4” 215lb runner. Currently running 10-15miles a week and ramping that up over the summer. Was looking for a shoe that would hold up to some long road runs. Two runs in these and had to return. These would be great for gym workouts or walks, just wasn’t right for me and my stride or pace. Made my ankles ache and would slap that ground on down hills. Felt soreness in my calves as well. Trying to find shoes for a heavier runner is tough.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Definitely an improvement in support from the last generation Beast. I’ve worn them for close to 100 miles at this point and they’re broken in and comfortable. The drop is less on this shoe, allowing for a more natural step. I’m just hoping they last longer than the last generation Beast.

Since Beast 20, Beasts have been a godsend for me. I used to wear Beasts since 2009 for running, but since Beast 2020, I wear Beasts all the time because they are so comfortable. I had to return the Beast 2026 because it was too soft and did not keep me from overpronating. My legs hurt just from walking around in them for a few hours. Beast 26 may be good for some, but this version changed the essence of the shoe. Beasts 20-24 had a good balance between firm support and cushioning. Beast 26 seems to have increased cushioning and greatly reduced the support. Call the Beast 26 something else, and please go back to the qualities of the prior design. There are other shoes like the Beast 26, but I never found any other shoes like the Beasts 20-24. People like me really need a shoe like the Beast 20-24. I hope I can find the Beast 24 for sale somewhere!

Brooks should never have stopped producing the DYAD. The Beast shoe feels like the sole was made with cheap material. It’s a very stiff shoe. The size runs smaller than indicated. I wear a 4E and the toe box on this shoe is still too small. The Ghost Max, which is supposed to be the successor to the DYAD, is not much better than the Beast. Very disappointed in the products Brooks is currently producing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been wearing Beast extra wide since 20 plus years but three years ago I tried Hoka shoes since they have been providing healthcare professionals discount. After three years or so I purchase Beast GTS and I am happy even though there is no discount. I wish Brooks will start discount for health care professionals like other competitors.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The best, most supportive shoe! I own two pairs. Might be a bit stiff for thin, lightweight people, but I love them.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been wearing these shoes for a few weeks now, and they have completely exceeded my expectations. Right out of the box, they felt incredibly comfortable with absolutely zero break-in period required. What makes them great: Premium Cushioning: The midsole provides excellent shock absorption, making long walks or full days on your feet feel effortless. Stable Fit: The upper materials secure the foot perfectly without causing any pressure points or friction. Durable Build: The traction is fantastic on various surfaces, and the construction feels solid enough to last a very long time. Whether you need a reliable daily trainer, a solid walking shoe, or just something dependable for everyday wear, this pair delivers top-tier performance. They are worth every penny!

I purchased during the last week of April 2026. I am extremely satisfied with the extra wide availability and the standard shoe size. The shoes exterior color scheme makes the product an attractive addition.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have to order 4E shoe width thse days. I ordered a pair of these last year and everything was fine. However the shoes I got this year had a very, very wide sole, so much so that I was tripping quite a bit. I just got a pair of Addiction GTS 15 and they are working fine. The sole is no where near as wide.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very comfortable and very stable, which is my #1 need. Given the cushioning and stability, these shoes are also relatively lightweight.

I have been wearing the Brooks Beast running shoes for years. The soles of the '26 version wear out quickly. I usually get about 11 months from the show but now they are worn out after about 7 months. Disappointing.
