Great Shoe

Great shoe. I have wide flat feet and struggle with finding shoe. The Beast line up has been great. I’ve been wearing them since 1996 or 1998. Every time I try to switch shoes up, I end up going right back to the beast. I run and/or walk on average of 30-40 miles per week in them. I wear them for weight lifting, CrossFit/circuit classes and general daily wear. They are very stable with a firmer feel. They are not a plush running shoe at all but even on my longer runs, 13 to 15 miles, I’ve never had any issue or foot pain.

More Narrow, Still Comfy

Best Shoe For Orthodic Issues And Walking I Have Ever Owned

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been wearing Addiction Walkers for years to help with lingering ankle issues after having Triple Arthrodisis surgery, which corrected 90% of past problems, for support and stability. When Beast GTS 26 came out specs seemed to indicate as good or better performance for me. To my surprise they are even better, More support, and even more stability with the wider base. I have been taking one mile plus daily walks in these with minimum to no pain or inflamation. Bought a second pair already.

I purchase one or two pairs every other year. Please don’t discontinue this model. Other models don’t meet my needs.

Ankle Roll

I wear Good Feet orthotics and this works really well with them. The previous shoes allowed my ankle to roll, causing ankle, foot and leg issues. I still have a remnant of the issue, so it may take a little while for my shoes and feet to adapt.

I Have Been Using The Beast For Over 25 Years When I Was A Runner And Now As A Walker So I Would Tell People To Use It For Running Or Walking

Want A Great Walking Sneaker?

Stylish New Look, Same Perfect Fit

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using the Brooks Beast and GTS Adrenaline, for 10+ years now and here’s my honest feedback for Beast GTS 26" What I Like Stability support — The GuideRails system keeps my feet aligned and reduces overpronation very well. Wide base — The shoe feels steady and secure, especially on long walks or runs. Strong midsole — The cushioning stays firm and doesn’t collapse. Good lockdown — Heel and midfoot feel stable with no slipping. Comfortable fit — Soft inside, roomy toe box, great for wide feet. What Can Be Improved Weight — The shoe is heavy. A lighter build would make it easier to run longer. Breathability — The upper gets warm in hot weather. More ventilation would help. Flexibility — The forefoot is stiff. A bit more flex would improve toe‑off. Looks — The design still feels bulky and orthopedic. A cleaner look would be great. Energy return — Cushioning is stable but not very lively. A slightly more responsive feel would improve the ride.

I Am Ordering Another Pair!

This new Beast GTS 26 is excellent. Support and comfort are exceptional, and the fit is as expected. A much better shoe than the competition and the color choices are appropriately stylish ( these are black, I'm ordering another pair in grey).

No Good Anymore

Have been getting brooks for the last 5 years over my last to sets you have changed the fit of them and are now very uncomfortable

New Beast 26 Grey

I have been using the Beast for many years Just bought the new grey color 26 version Extremely comfortable and provides stability for my flat feet The cushioning is great and provides great traction.
