Good Shoes.

Real nice. I like them a lot. I usually wear a zero drop brand for my trail running but I’m glad I gave these a try they are definitely very comfortable on the trail over rock and roots and all.

This shoe was recommended by a podiatrist AND a orthotic specialist so I have been using Cascadias for over 5 years as a workout shoe and as a general use shoe. My one issue is that I can feel the new bottoms as I walk along. They almost feel like spikes. I realize these are for trail running but I think it’s a little over the top. Why not come out with a version of the Cascadia that features the same amount of support but works as a general use athletic shoe?

Great Performance, But Disappointing Durability

I really love this shoe for its stability and traction—both are excellent, especially on the trails. However, the durability leaves a lot to be desired. I'm already on my second pair after the first gave out in under 200 miles, and unfortunately, this new pair is starting to fall apart too. Hopefully, the next version will be more durable, because otherwise, it’s a fantastic trail shoe.

I Found The Shoes!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I looked for comfortable shoes that would last for my long distance walking and it's taken me more than a year, but I've found them! The Brooks Cascadia are an amazing fit even after 30kms.

Great Hiking Shoes Too

I was on the fence of buying trail shoes or hiking boots for my Yellowstone and Grand Tetons trip. I am so glad I chose the Cascadia. We hiked 50 miles of trails. Bunsen peak, Mt Washburn (95% snow on trail), Signal Mtn, Cascade Canyon, and a few others. The lugs on the shoes had terrific grip, the stiffness/responsiveness of the shoe helped pushing off when going uphill. Even in the snow they stayed dry! No gaiters or anything. Would definitely recommend them for hiking, likely great for running too.
