Light As A Feather!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this shirt. In my opinion it must have been named dash because of how light weight it is! Definitely a shirt that is ideal for hot, sweaty workouts or if running a race and you’re trying not to overheat. The material dries quickly and doesn’t feel like it’s weighing you down. I even wore this through some hot flow yoga sessions which it performed very well.

Great Quality, Neck Fit A Little Off

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this shirt as part of a product review. I like the material and fit. I’m 6’0 and 185 lbs. The quality is great. My only gripe is I feel like the neck hole is just a little too large. It’s subtle, but for me I noticed it. Maybe I have a skinny neck?

Dash Comfort

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This short sleeve has a light quick dry/ wicking fabric that is so comfortable. The semi fitted shirt was loose in all the right places without looking baggy. I love the cut of the shirt with the side notch/ extra V of fabric allowing the shirt to fall just over the hips staying in place without bunching during my runs. The midnight run color is a nice navy and looks great with the midnight run Canopy jacket and pants. I love that the fabric has 40+ sun protection. This is a must buy for the warm summer months both for running and any outdoor activity.

Pretty Decent Running Shirt

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have really enjoyed all of the Brooks gear I have previously used (and swear by their GTS running shoe lines) and I was excited to try this running kit for free. But, as you may have read in my other reviews, I try to remain as unbiased as possible. My first impression upon taking this shirt out of the packaging was that the material felt weird. When I ran my hands over it, it felt both slippery and chalky simultaneously. I think this is likely because of how "hole-y" the shirt is. Once I was wearing it, I really didn't notice it and the feeling of chalkiness has gone away substantially as I've worn it and washed it. Despite being very breathable, I've found the fabric more durable than expected and it's held up well to indoor workouts in the gym and on the climbing wall. The fit is good and fits my average medium frame pretty well and true to size. I enjoy running in this shirt and I have found that it does a great job of dumping heat and wicking sweat (likely because of how "hole-y" it is!). That being said, it doesn't give me the cool-sensation as much as some other warm weather shirts I have in rotation, which is not a bad thing as I was able to wear this with a light jacket even when it got chilly. This is still a synthetic active shirt, and I found it got smelly if I worked out in it a few times between washes. In fact, I wanted to test the smell reduction abilities and I wore it five days in a row for six workouts and I was forced to wash it by the powers that be (my fiancee). End of the day, this shirt fits well and performs well without being a standout in any category. I enjoy the purple color and I look forward to including it in my rotation of shirts during the warmer months to come.

Excellent, Highly Recommend

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a great experience with Brooks Dash apparel. I tried both the shorts and the shirt, and they exceeded my expectations. The materials are extremely comfortable, lightweight, and breathable, making them perfect for workouts or all-day wear. After multiple uses, everything has held up really well with no stretching, fading, or loss of shape, so the durability is impressive. Overall, Brooks Dash delivers a great balance of comfort, quality, and performance. I’d definitely recommend it.

Brooks Knows Tech

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] "I’ve been putting the Dash kit through their paces lately during lifting sessions, short runs, and some Peloton rides. While the tech side of the kit does its job super well, there are some things about the fit and feel that might make them a "love it or hate it" item depending on your preferences. Dash Shirt - The first thing I noticed about the shirt was the texture. It has a very "tech" feel to it. I tend to prefer a softer hand on my shirts, but again, it wicks super well with this blend and weave. Dash Shorts - The shorts are super nice with some excellent design features, notably the uber comfy waistband. Take note that these shorts have a brief liner. As a person who typically prefers shorts without liners, these took a moment for me to adjust to. The liner has narrow elastic leg openings that are just a bit too snug for my taste. All said, the shorts wick very well and are very lightweight. I received this product free in exchange for my honest review."

Why I Would Buy This Over And Over Again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review. Fit & Sizing I’m approximately 5’10” and 190 lbs, and I wear a Large in the Dash Short Sleeve Shirt. The fit feels true to size—athletic without being tight or restrictive. The length is appropriate for both running and casual wear, and the silhouette is clean without excess fabric or boxiness. Comfort The shirt is very comfortable during workouts and longer runs. Nothing chafes or binds, even when sweating heavily. It also transitions well into casual wear, which is a big plus—I’ve worn it outside of training without it looking or feeling like a strictly “gym-only” shirt. Fabric Performance The fabric has a slight texture that feels premium and well thought out. It’s highly breathable during runs and does a great job of wicking sweat. Post-workout, it dries quickly and doesn’t feel heavy or clingy. The seams are smooth and well constructed, contributing to overall comfort. Mobility & Range of Motion Movement is unrestricted. Whether running, doing light strength work, or everyday activity, the shirt moves naturally with the body and never feels limiting. Use Case Versatility I’ve worn this shirt for outdoor runs, treadmill runs, and casual daily wear, and it felt appropriate in all situations. It performs well as a technical running shirt while still looking polished enough for everyday use. Style & Appearance The shirt looks great on—clean, modern, and understated. I’d absolutely wear it casually, which makes it more versatile than many performance tops. Comparison Compared to other running shirts I own, the Dash stands out for its balance of comfort, breathability, and everyday versatility. It feels more refined than many standard performance tees. Overall Impressions What surprised me most was how well this shirt works both during runs and outside of workouts. I’d recommend it to runners, active professionals, and anyone who values performance gear that doesn’t look overly technical. Credibility: I’m a sports chiropractor and work regularly with runners and active individuals, so comfort, mobility, and durability are things I pay close attention to in performance apparel.

Great All Around Shirt

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the best all around work out shirt. I wore it to taekwondo, running on my treadmill, walks, dance work outs and the gym. I am usually a woman’s medium and the men’s small fit perfectly. It’s from fitting without being tight or restrictive. The fabric is soft and holds up well after washing. Very breathable and moisture wicking. Definitely one of my favorites shirts out of all my workout clothes.

Dash Shirt

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very comfortable lightweight running shirt. Fits well with a good amount of stretch. If you’re a taller runner it might run a little short on the length of your torso. I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review.

Athleisure Goes High Performance

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was genuinely surprised by the texture of the fabric. Usually, high-performance gear feels a bit synthetic or plastic-like, but the Dash collection feels like your favorite worn-in cotton tee while performing like high-tech gear. I would absolutely recommend this kit to anyone from marathon runners to casual gym-goers. Shirt/Short Fit: The sizing is true to size for both pieces. The shirt has a modern, semi-fitted cut that skims the body without being tight or restrictive. The shorts offer a relaxed athletic fit—plenty of room for quads but not baggy. Waistband: The waistband on the Dash shorts is excellent. It feels secure and stays in place without digging into my skin. The adjustable drawcord is a nice touch to dial in the fit depending on the intensity of the workout. Side pockets are functional and moving the key pocket to the back is a great design choice. Hands down, this is some of the most comfortable gear I own. It feels incredibly light and barely there during a workout. I experienced zero chafing, even on longer runs. The shorts stay put and don't bunch up between the legs, and the shirt seams are smooth against the skin. The liner is supportive without being compressive. It keeps everything secure and is breathable enough that you don't overheat. I took this kit through warm (South Carolina 75F) outdoor sessions, and the breathability was top-tier. Air flows right through the material. It wicks sweat away from the body well and fast dried post-workout; The mobility is unrestricted. with good stretch, and the side notches on the shorts really help when opening up your stride or dropping into a lunge. You never feel the fabric "catching." I’ve taken this kit from an indoor session to a 10-mile outdoor run, and even just as loungewear. It’s technical enough for hard training but matte and stylish enough for casual wear. I really appreciated the subtle reflective elements for evening runs. It shows Brooks thought about safety without compromising the look. After a few cycles in the wash (and dry), the fabric looks brand new. No pilling, no shrinking, and the shape has held up perfectly. Compared to other generic athletic brands I wear, the Brooks Dash line feels higher quality. V Breathable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had not used Brooks clothing before and I'm impressed. The dash shirt is incredibly breathable and dries quickly. I've used it for gym workouts and outdoor runs on warmer days and found it to work incredibly well. It fits pretty true to size and allows for food mobility. Lightweight Comfort And Performance You Can Count On

I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review. I’ve worn the Brooks Dash Short Sleeve Shirt for outdoor runs, treadmill workouts, and a few strength-focused gym sessions, and overall the fit has been spot on. It feels true to size with an athletic cut that’s not too tight or restrictive, but also not boxy or loose. The length is ideal—it provides good coverage without feeling long or bunching up during movement. From a comfort standpoint, this shirt really shines. The fabric feels soft against the skin, even during longer runs, and I experienced no chafing or irritation around the neck, shoulders, or underarms. It stayed in place well and never rode up, even during faster-paced runs or dynamic movements like lunges and squats. In terms of fabric performance, the Dash shirt does an excellent job. It’s highly breathable and handled sweat very well during higher-intensity efforts, including tempo runs and indoor workouts. Moisture wicking is impressive—the shirt pulls sweat away quickly and dries fast post-workout, which makes it comfortable for back-to-back activities or running errands afterward. Mobility is another strong point: the stretch in the fabric allows for a full range of motion, whether I’m running, lifting, or doing mobility work. I never felt restricted through the shoulders or chest, which is something I pay close attention to as a runner who mixes in cross-training. Style-wise, the Dash Short Sleeve has a clean, modern look that works both for workouts and casual wear. I’ve worn it outside the gym without it feeling overly technical or “run-only.” After multiple washes, the fabric has held up well with no noticeable pilling, stretching, or loss of softness. Compared to other running shirts I own from Brooks and similar performance brands, this one stands out for its balance of comfort, breathability, and versatility. I’m a recreational runner who trains consistently for races and logs miles year-round, and I’d confidently recommend this shirt to runners, gym-goers, or anyone looking for a reliable, high-quality performance top. A small improvement could be adding subtle reflective elements for low-light runs, but overall this is a strong, well-rounded piece of gear.

Lightweight, Breathable And Versatile

A Dashing Option For Runs

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was able to get my hands on the shirt and shorts to test out for a little. I ended up using them for some running sessions and gym workouts, in both Florida heat and New York winter woes. I will say from the moment I got the package, my first impression was I loved the feel of the shirt. It is made of a recycled polyester mix and the entire time of using it, it has felt comfortable and light. I never had any issues where it clung to me after absorbing moisture or irritated me via rubbing. Fit wise, it came across true to size. It is slightly fitted but not enough to ride up with broad movements. The shirt performed well in regard to breathability and moisture wicking. The shirt allowed enough airflow to keep me cool when needed and absorbed enough sweat to prevent large buildups. With that, it also dried quite quickly after absorbing moisture. I took it out for a jog in drizzle and rain and afterwards the shirt was dry within 40 minutes! I would recommend this shirt for anyone needing new apparel for workouts and runs. It performs well and feels great. Even after owning for a month, the shirt hasn’t deteriorated with multiple washes or shown any signs of use. The material still feels as good as the day it came out of the package. It is also a great shirt for every day use or being out and about. I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review.
