Rated 4 out of 5 by MStarr from Brooks are best Struggling with a plantar injury, recently, and these have been 1,000x more supportive than my Reebok's. The GTX are waterproof, and my only knock would be that there's a little sound they make when you walk....also my feet probably sweat a bit more in them bc of that so be sure to keep them deodorized....but THE COMFORT is worth it. I hope to buy another pair of two of Brooks for the trail in the near future....they are extremely comfortable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by brauna from Good shoe waterproof has worked good so far and they don't seem to be a lot hotter or make my feet sweat any worse than most typical shoes. The tread is good for road running and hard surfaces as it is a rubbery tread not like that of a trail running shoe which has a hard rubber tread. I love the looks of them. They are comfortable and feel good for running and being active but i do prefer my hoka bondi 5 for work where i am standing around more, they are more cushioned.

Rated 2 out of 5 by JenniferT from A step down from the Ghost 10 GTX Not nearly as good as my old favorite Ghost 10 GTX. For one thing, this is the noisiest Brooks running shoe I've ever owned- even my husband hears it clunk, only in one foot, mind you. And the padding is woefully inadequate compared to the Ghost 10 GTX. It's an unfortunate evolution away from what was a nearly perfect design to one that will require expensive insoles to make it useable, and even then I expect it to clunk upon flexing.

Rated 2 out of 5 by EricD from Not waterproof Definitely not waterproof. I was excited that my go-to trainer was available in GTX. But, a 9 mile run in rainy conditions was a disappointment. My feet were soaked and it seemed like the Gore membrane had been reversed, letting in the moisture and keeping it in. I still love the Ghost but will not buy the GTX version again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by JeromeZ from Great Shoe that improved over the years. Love the GTX shoe in cold and foul weather here in the Northeast. I've been wearing the GTX for years, but did notice this model is a really big improvement, much more comfortable, not on the stiff side as the older models were. Excellent design.

Rated 2 out of 5 by EricD from Not waterproof Definitely not waterproof. I was excited that my go to shoe was available in GTX. After a 9 mile run in the rain, my feet were soaked and the shoes were waterlogged. I should have saved some money and just purchased the standard Ghost.

Rated 5 out of 5 by clintb from Great Shoe, Great Colors I really love this particular shoe model. After running in the Brooks Chariot , I found the Ghost to be a great replacement. I’m also happy to see this shoe (and the Cascadia) released in a less outlandish color scheme! Thanks Brooks
