Definite Downgrade From Previous Version

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the 13s. I assumed the 16 would be even better, but they are awful. I cannot wear them for more than a quick walk without blisters and abrasions on the side of my big toe. There is some type of hard material in the toe box that needs to be cut or shaped better. Please turn some attention to fixing this issue.

Great Shoes For Achilles' Issues

I bought these shoes based on online reviews that testified to these being the best for athletes with achilles tendon issues. I'm a busy father of young kids so I'm not really the most athletic anymore, but I do have an achilles acting up on me! These shoes reduced my pain by half immediately, and have continued to be my daily wear pair.

Better For Neutral-stability Runners Than True Neutral

While an excellent option for runners on the border between neutral/stability, the subtle stability somewhat deterred me from using this regularly as more of a neutral runner. I could feel the shoes shift my feet to the edges somewhat which threw off my gait. I haven't tried too many Brooks, but will have to take my experience into consideration in the future when purchasing new running shoes.
