About This Item
Meet the next generation of a much-loved running shoe. The men's Ghost 17 features more cushion in the heel and forefoot than before, delivering a soft yet dynamic experience.
Design:
New double jacquard air mesh upper and kickback collar provide added structure and comfort
In-Shoe Comfort:
Premium nitrogen-infused DNA LOFT v3 cushioning delivers lightweight softness and feel-good comfort, mile after mile
The newly designed midsole combines with precise flex grooves to promote added flow toward toe-off
3 mm of added DNA LOFT v3 cushion in the forefoot, 1 mm of added cushion in the heel for a 10 mm offset and added comfort
The Ghost is now a poor quality shoe. I've run in my 17s for about 2 weeks now and the soles are showing wear especially at the heels. Same with the 16s. Brooks hasn't made a quality Ghost since the 15. Do not buy!!!

Nice Shoe But Different Than The 16...
I've had different iterations of Ghosts over the years from the 13's. I really liked my 16's but for the need for a bit more cushioning. The 17's had the cushioning but the sizing and the shoe in general was too different for me. I wanted to like it, good shoe, but my feet felt differently-had to return.

Great shoe. Well balanced, super shock absorption and great reaction on both road running as well as treadmill. Love these shoes!!

Didn’t Work For Me.
I have 3 pair of men’s Ghost 16 because they work really well for my wide feet. You made the 17’s longer and more narrow. I returned them.

Great Support Feel But Sole Disintegrates
I’m 71 years with sciatica. My chiropractor’s massage person recommended these. I only wore them inside the house and on the treadmill 15 minutes a day, 6 days a week, and the bottom of the shoe began coming off. I love the feeling of support from the rest of the shoe, but to have the bottom disintegrate with as little wear as I do them, I just have to return them.
