Don't Sleep On This Ghost!
Writing a review for a running shoe is difficult as what applies to me will likely not apply to whoever reads this due to biomechanical differences, running experience, etc. That said, as a sub-elite runner who hasn't worn brooks before besides the Launch GTS series, I tried the Ghost after one of my favorite up-tempo stability shoes got cancelled (Adidas Supernova Solution 2). Before trying it, I knew the Ghost to be a boring shoe that a lot of people got prescribed as a beginner running shoe; something people would try on until they figured out their preferences while running. However, after hearing some initial reviews from some of my running shoe influencers (The Drop, Doctors of Running), I figured I'd give them a try. I have been very satisfied so far. I have been able to hold all types of faster to easy running in these shoes without pain or irritation to my very sensitive feet or Achilles. I love putting these shoes on as they feel very comfortable on my feet and add some excitement for me to go out running. The added stability features have allowed me to run long miles in these shoes despite my history of Morton's Neuroma and Achilles tendinopathy without being constrictive to the point of triggering the neuroma. The turnover on the shoe also feels great, as I don't experience any feelings of clunkiness or heavy feet despite the average-heavier weight of the shoe. Good Job Brooks! Keep going this direction!

Very Comfortable Lightweight Running Shoe
Very comfortable lightweight running shoe. Much lighter than my NewBalance 990s that I have been wearing for decades and significantly less expensive. I was pleased that Brooks offered a narrow size and the fit was perfect. However, due to my aches, I did have to change out the insole for proper arch support.
