My (Swollen) Left Foot

I ordered for myself, but the left shoe was too small for my oft-swollen foot (arthritis). So, I sent to my cousin, whose size was one smaller than the one I ordered. They fit him wonderfully, and he was/is extremely grateful (and also a Brooks customer). Bottom line: the shoes were perfect; my foot, not so perfect. Thank you Brooks for your quality of product and integrity as a business. Customer for life.

Heel Flap

I’ve owned every Ghost they’ve had and they screwed up on this one. They feel is awesome, but if you wear them with running pants or jeans the big flap on the heel catches your pants. Get rid of of the high patch on the heel that says Brooks on it. Pants catch behind it everytime. Bought two pair returning one because of it.

Brooks Does It Again!

I bought these Ghost 17 based on previous purchases of Brooks. They do not disappoint. The comfort and support is tremendous. I bought them a month ago in Grey. Highly recommended!

The shoe is comfortable in general and is well built. The padding is firm, not squishy. However, although not shown as a stabilization model, the shoe aggressively pushes my heals outward. I could not pronate inward if a tried.

Love the cushioning. The upper part seems shallower than previous versions, so not as snug feeling.
