I bought these shoes a little less than a month ago, and I have ran with them many times. The soles do an excellent job of absorbing my weight, and running feels very comfortable. Right now it shows that it will be a long lasting and durable shoe. The price of the shoe was appropriate for the value I have gotten so far. I would definitely recommend.

The Decline Continues
Just when I thought it couldn't get any worse than the Ghost 16, behold, the Ghost 17, ta-da! The outsole that wraps up around the toe began coming unglued on the very first day of use, which only consisted of walking and a kneeling a few times. Beyond that, the graphics on the side of the shoe, where Brooks prints their name, also began coming unstuck within about a month of use. I've got Ghosts going back to 11, but these are by far the worst edition I've encountered, and they were also the most expensive.

I’m am overall pleased with the shoe however for me at my age I need more support in the arch and balls of my feet as well as a little more room in the toe box area like the Glycerin Max offers.

The shoe is nice, however, the back of it with the heel cup area is awful. I wear orthotics and have never had problems with my heel sliding out of the back of the shoe but this new model is not good. My heel feel like it will slide out any moment and I have to overtighten the laces to keep my foot in which is uncomfortable.

New Heel Too Short, Feels Like Shoe Will Slip Off.
New heel design makes shoe feel like its slipping off my foot. After many generations of ghosts, I need to find a new go-to shoe.
