Not Even The Ghost Anymore

Ruined! Getting rid of the traditional padded tongue for the wierd elastic “sock” fit was a horrible choice! And the ankle heal keeps getting and more pronounced curved out. The new Anthem 8 was a better design in all honesty. What are they doing to the ghost🤷🏻‍♂️

Great Running Shoes - Falls Short On Details - Customer Service Is Great

This is my first real pair of running shoes. Overall, I love them. Although this is the case, the thread keeping the tongue together already started to come apart after 3 short runs (2-3 miles). I reached out to Brooks support and they're exchanging them, so no worries, just a little annoying and the reason I can't give 5 stars.

Spacious Toe Box

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very happy to say they are great. I’ve worn ghosts for the past 10 years straight and I found the 17 too narrow but these are back to the spacious toe box I love and no heel slip. I can’t wait for more colors!

Another Worthwhile Addition To The Brooks Family

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My love affair with Brooks shoes began over ten years ago when my podiatrist recommended the brand after having plantar fascia caused by incorrect footwear. Since then I have never looked back, amassing a sizable collection. The Ghost series in particular is one of my favourites and look forward each year to the new release. The Ghost 18 continues its reliance on tremendous support, whether running or walking at a fast pace or simply because father time catches up with all of us. The 18’s support in terms of tread and the shoe’s ability to feel secure, reliable and comfortable in all forms of weather has helped with my ongoing treatment for sciatica; developed from an accident while on a walking expedition I recently had undertaken in Tasmania. I highly recommend the Ghost 18. In fact, I was so impressed, I bought a second pair.The colour range is varied and dynamic. I personally recommend the white/spring bud/spruce, but I am a fan of green as well. I could sleep in these shoes if I had to.
