Extremely Comfortable & Look Great Too.

I bought these for my 20 year old son as a gift & they are some of the best-looking Brooks we've owned. The Ghost is my favorite shoe, so I was excited to check out the Ghost Trail. I will say that the trail tread is not as aggressive as the Brooks Cascadia, so not sure these would be great on technical trails, but probably fine for gravel/smoother trails. I'm not sure if we got an off-pair or these run big, but my son is always an 11.5 in Brooks & the 11.5 was too big for him. We exchanged for an 11 & the fit was great.

Good First Edition

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the concept of a trail version of the Ghost and the first few runs have been positive. I wear a 14 wide and this feels narrower than the Ghost 17 I have in the same size/width though not enough to return. As others have stated: I also wish more than color option was available in a wide.

Need A Shoehorn

Looking at the upward and backward sloping heel part made me think one could get into these like Sketchers slip-ons--nope. Even with relatively loose elastic laces, I still need to use my finger as a shoehorn to get into them. Otherwise, very comfortable.

Just As Great A Ghost Road So Far

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far have only used these on snow covered roads. In the spring planning to get on gravel trails. I wear the ghost road shoes and it was a seamless transition to going to the ghost trail. I did need to drop down a 1/2 size
