Floating Like A Ghost

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These shoes are great! Incredibly comfortable, light weight, and awesome traction. Took these on their first run the other day; down the street, through the park, around the trail. Didn’t matter the terrain the ride was stable and smooth the whole way. Combine that with the great colors and you have a solid pair of everyday runners!

My Favorite Shoe Of All Time, Seriously!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first pair of Ghost Trail running shoes and I'm absolutely 100% impressed. Initially they seemed a little too firm but they broke in quickly to perfection. The traction is like no other shoe I've worn. These shoes are super light they provide all of the support you need in all directions and they breathe very well. The sides of the of the shoe are are durable and resilient when making contact with obstacles along the trail. They have a nice bungee loop at the heel to hang them up in the sun if they're wet , they dry quickly. The cushioning is great on both graveL, trail and road although I'm mainly running off road. As I mentioned earlier the traction on these shoes is insane, best I've ever seen. The only thing I'm not completely happy with on these shoes is the front tip above the toe cage has these ribs built into the fabric for protection. If you're running through grass the ridges on those ribs are abrasive to foliage and you end up with green staining but since they clean up quickly and easily it's not a big deal. I don't think I'll ever run in any other shoe.

Great All-around Shoe

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is overall a really solid shoe. I think it works for trail running or even general cross training. I've got a separate pair of Brooks GTS Adrenalines that I use strictly for the track or (very clean) roads, but I wouldn't be caught dead trail running or cross-training for fear of rolling an ankle with their squishy bases. These Ghost Trails though? They feel really solid and stable on all sorts of terrain, and especially as we move to winter where I live and my training shifts indoors to a gym, I could see myself wearing these for a full workout (instead of switching shoes between the weights and the treadmill). I like the off-whiteish/tan as the main color... will be easier to keep looking somewhat clean. But I LOVE the little loop on the heel. It makes pulling them on so much easier without squishing the tongue down either, even if they are already low-tops. It's just little details like that which keep me coming back to Brooks.

Surprisingly Awesome Shoe!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This shoe is great! It’s very lightweight but feels sturdy and well-made. It has excellent cushion and support. At first, I thought the cushion would be too much but running on trails was pretty amazing. I don’t feel sticks or rocks hardly at all. Pavement running was a breeze. The shape of the bottom is great for me as I am a mid-foot contact to toe runner. The shoe almost propels me forward with minimal effort. The material is breathable and keeps my feet cool on my morning runs. The size was spot on for length and the width was great for my slightly wide foot. The only slight downside to this shoe is that it feels pretty tall and slightly unstable. I have loose ankles so I’m cautious about rolling them but I haven’t an issue so far. Other than that, these shoes are solid.

Pleasantly Surprised! Back In Brooks

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been looking for a good alternative to multisurface running trail shoes and these hit the mark! They transition great from trail to road and back again. I was skeptical of the large heel padding at first, but it doesn't catch on rocks or roots and makes for an easy and comfortable run even on rough terrain. And while they grip great on mud and slippery rocks, it doesn't feel like running in golf shoes while on the roads. All in all, I was pleasantly surprised by these and have been wearing them every other day of running. They are also comfortable for house wear or yard work if you're not into trail or ultrarunning.
