Not A Caldera Replacement

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Tried the Ghost Trail as a Caldera replacement (since the Calderas are discontinued), but they did not work for me. The toe box is much more narrow than the Caldera, which is a shame because other than that (and the feeling of instability that comes with it), the Ghost Trail felt great. The search continues for a Caldera replacement.

Mixed Feelings

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Comfortable fit, but the shoe strings are way too long. This shoe is perfect for dry, compact trails, but if there’s any bit of mud, prepare the be slipping and sliding all over the place.

Nice Basic Trail Shoe

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Finally a trail shoe that doesn't have a lot of extra heavy useless stuff on it. It does provide good cushioning and traction. The pointy rocks might still poke your feet a bit but the performance makes up for that. All we need is good grip, a little cushion and fast drying.

A Beautiful Shoe. I Have Worn Them To The Gym And Out On The Town To Dinner And Social Gatherings. I Have Gotten So Many Compliments.

Great Running Shoes

These shoes are QUITE stylish, not that I look for style, but a few individuals commented on them. They fit nicely, took awhile to break them in, as it is with most shoes. They can take some damage too, was surprised that they DIDNT show visible wear after some runs on tougher terrain.

Perfect Shoe For Those Who Enjoy Running On Pavement And On Packed, Non-technical Trails

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This shoe is exactly as described. I am very pleased with the look, color-combination and performance. The Ghost Trail excels on pavement and hard packed, dirt trails. There is adequate support when trails become uneven and the comfort is equivalent to that of the regular Ghost (non-trail version). The Ghost Trail is my "go to" shoe for non-technical trail runs and I am thrilled that Brooks has created this shoe because I love running on both paved streets and off-road trails that are nearby to where I live.

Finally A Comfortable Shoe In Cool Colors

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have high arches and supinate and these were recommend for my tail hikes. They gave enough cushion to be comfortable but not so much that it feels unstable like other cushion shoes. They have been great so far!

Exactly What You Need For The Trail

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a long time ghost user as well as the new ghost Max, I was looking for a new trail shoe. I got excited when they released this and finally decided to grab a pair. Right out of the box I am not disappointed at all.

Had to start gluing on the bottom lug pads after about 40-50 miles of hiking and running.

Good, But

The quality of the shoe is great, but it is just a little large on my foot, and it sis not feel as great as my other Brooks, it didn’t work out for me but may be totally fine for someone else
