Too Tight At Top. Prefer Glycerin 19 Or 22

Aside from one major issue (explained below), the shoes is generally comfortable and cushiony. Not sure if mine's defective, but the part towards the back of the tongue where the laces end, feels too tight and often causes me pain. Feels like something tight and bulging between the tongue and the top of my foot. I've really loosened the laces but that didn't help. My Glycerin 19 didn't have this problem. I tried the Glycerin 22 in-store and it felt fine. So I'm not sure if this is a problem with the Glycern 21 specifically, or just my pair. Not sure if there's an option for return given I've used the shoes for couple of weeks now. Was hoping it was a temporary teething issue but it's unfortunately not the case.

I recently picked up the Brooks Glycerin 21 after my go-to shoe, the Brooks Adrenaline, was out of stock. I was told the Glycerin was a good alternative, but unfortunately, it didn’t live up to that promise—at least not for me. Right out of the box, the Glycerin 21 felt plush and well-cushioned, which initially gave me hope. However, once I started running, the comfort quickly disappeared. The fit felt off, especially around the arch and heel, and I noticed discomfort within the first couple of miles. After a few runs, the pain in my feet became consistent enough that I had to stop using them altogether. To be fair, the Glycerin 21 might work well for runners who prefer a softer, more neutral shoe, but if you're coming from the Adrenaline—especially if you rely on the stability features—it’s just not the same experience. I felt like I had less support, which may have contributed to the discomfort during runs. Overall, I wouldn't recommend the Glycerin 21 as a substitute for the Adrenaline, especially if foot support and comfort are high priorities for you. Hopefully, the Adrenaline comes back in stock soon because this one just didn’t work for me.

Perfect For Walks, Gym, And Office

I recently purchased the Brooks Glycerin 21 and they have quickly become my go-to shoes for almost everything. These shoes are incredibly comfortable, and I wear them nearly every day—whether I’m going for a walk, hitting the gym, or even heading to the office. The cushioning is excellent, offering great support during long walks and workouts. Plus, they look stylish enough to pair with casual office wear. If you’re looking for versatile shoes that deliver on comfort and performance, I highly recommend the Glycerin 21.
