Great If You Have Foot/knee Pain And Looking For Min/mod Support.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Brooks Glycerins are the best shoes on the market as far as I am concerned. I have a history of plantar fasciitis (turns out I over pronate and didn't know it for years). These fixed the pain from that and I haven't had plantar fasciitis for years. I also have a tendency to develop foot and knee pain from time to time as I've gotten older (and heavier). The Glycerin GTS series seem to be the best shoe for helping with that. I also wear the Adrenaline GTS at times. The Glycerin is similar but with a softer feel which I prefer. The new 22's do feel a little more invasive as far as support goes, but I haven't really had them long enough to break them in yet. Historically there has always been a difference once they are broken in . I've tried other brands support shoes and they tend to overcorrect to the point that it hurts my hips/knees. These don't do that. I have tried the Beast in the past but it was too much and caused issues.

Very loose on the toe area which i tried to adjust but its still too wide.. i have the adrenaline gts that i bought recently and i can tell the difference in performance with them.. i may just keep the Glycerin for walking long distances.

Painful Shoes , Not For Me

I normally wear the adrenaline but the adrenaline 24 is awful. I decided to try the glycerin gts 22 and while they had plenty of cushion, The shoe is narrow and the toe box squishes my toes. Also the balls of my feet and back of my ankles were hurting and in pain from the brooks glycerin gts 22. Unfortunately I had to return these shoes because they don’t work for me. I had to go to a shoe store and I ended up getting New Balance 990V6 and my feet are not hurting anymore. Brooks, I don’t know what you are doing but your shoes no longer work for me. I have gout and plantar fasciitis and need a shoe with great support and a deep roomy toe box, Which the New Balance 990V6 provides. I’m very disappointed in Brooks. Hope this helps someone if you find yourself in the same situation and are having a hard time finding a good shoe. I recommend the New Balance 990V6 hands down.

Got this pair for my husband. He loves them. They are plush and very roomy. Happy feet.
