Best Cushioned Brooks I’ve Worn

The Brooks Glycerin Max delivers incredible cushioning without feeling unstable. The ride is smooth, comfortable, and perfect for long runs or recovery days. My legs feel fresher after each run, and the fit is spot on. Easily one of the most comfortable running shoes I’ve worn.

Outstanding But Not For Me

The foam, the fit, the upper...they are all outstanding in this max cushion recovery day shoe. The only issue for me as a heel striker is that the rocker is too late and as such blocks the shoe from rolling through on every step. As this aggravates an old injury this has been a deal-breaker for me, and so I am regrettably bidding an early farewell to this shoe as I move it on to someone for whom the late rocker is not an issue.

Great Recovery Run Shoes

Looking for a max trainer for my long runs and recovery. Solid choice. Very comfortable and reliable. Probably not the best for speed work but clearly that’s not the design of the shoe. I’ve been very happy with them so far. Haven’t had them long enough yet for durability rating. It was true to size for me I wear men’s 12.
