Where Are The (Real) Pockets?

Fits nicely, fabric comfortable but no pockets ( technically there is an interior waistband pocket). Pants have pockets, either side or back but these pants do not.

Size May Be An Issue

Typically I am a size medium (32-33) with all Brooks pants/shorts apparel. I tried a size medium and the pant was too snug which I returned. I ordered size large and these were way to large around my waist. Also, in both cases I would have preferred a full length elastic waist band.

I really enjoy wearing them, they are my second layer when the temp is below 40 degrees

A Very Good, Minimalist Outer Shell

When I purchased these pants, I hoped they would be general purpose pants, suitable for all situations. They aren’t. But, it wasn’t realistic to expect that they would be. They are a good, minimalist outer shell, suitable for layering in cold, wet weather. They are very light and flexible, but also don’t have any pockets. The instructions say to keep them out of the clothes dryer and line dry instead. I tried running in these pants when it was 50 degrees and rainy outside. They didn’t breathe very well in those conditions, and my legs ended up drenched with sweat. But, when walking in the same weather, with regular running pants underneath, they work great. I believe they also will work well when running in cooler, wet weather, in the range of 35 degrees and below.
