Not thrilled about the newest generation of the Hyperion. I found that it ran smaller than the Hyperion 2 for the same size and feels significantly heavier. The padding is nice, but it's definitely not the same shoe.

Great Quality Shoe!
Bought these a month ago and they've been great. I'm on my feet at work all day and they're very comfortable, stylish and durable.

Great For Walking!
Purchased this shoe for my father who is 67 years old. He was going on a trip that required some walking. So far, he has loved the shoe & comfort.

Prior years model was preferred with the lower profile. If I wanted a puffy shoe I would get one. Needed that flat model

Hyperion 2 Vs. Hyperion 3
Awful! The only thing the Hyperion 3 has in common with the Hyperion 2 is the name, "Hyperion." The Hyperion 2 was fast, light, I could be nimble and feel the road. At 7 ounces it was a good speed shoe and racing shoe. The 3 is a clunky, heavy, awkward, "marshmallow" shoe. I don't know what it would be good for. "Easy" running days? Too clunky for that. Lots of bulk and unwanted weight and material. My "2s" weigh 7.0 ounces. My "3s" weigh 8.9 ounces. Why would Brooks think that going from a 7.0 ounce shoe to an 8.9 ounce should would be appreciated and seen as desirable by a runner? When did clunky and awkward become desirable aspects of a running shoe? I didn't even bother to try these for a run--(the toe box is too narrow to think they would be comfortable enough to try them, anyway)--I simply sent them back and will look for something else. It's not a bad shoe--if you like it, wear it, but I'd like to see Brooks bring back the Hyperion 2. The Hyperion GTS was also a good shoe, no longer available. Arrgh!
