[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After several runs on the road, they feel very comfortable and lightweight. Recently, I tested them in a half-marathon and the experienced went well.

I like the shoes but they feel different, like I’m wearing two completely different shoes. Very disappointing.

Really enjoy the cushion of the run for moderate length runs. Good for front foot strikers.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a beautiful shoe, but for me, the support is very uneven and a little on the soft side. I don't use it for my walks, this goes into the pretty shoe category, I just wear it to look good.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I ordered a 1/2 size too big so they’re not super comfortable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These shoes feel so comfortable. I like to do street running and these give me the comfort to keep running longer and they feel so nice on my feet. It’s very supportive and gives me a good bounce with each step. The cushioning is excellent. The style of the shoe is very versatile and I can work out in them, but can also wear them casually with non-workout clothes. It’s an all-around great shoe that’s both comfortable and stylish!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product in exchange for my honest review, and I tested it with both daily walking and light running to get a full sense of its performance. For context, I have flat feet and tend to struggle with most non-minimalist shoes—especially anything with noticeable heel elevation—because they usually lead to foot and back pain fairly quickly. With that in mind, I was pleasantly surprised by how these felt during regular walking. The cushioning is soft without being overly squishy, and the support is decent enough that I could stay on my feet for extended periods with minimal discomfort. That alone is a big win for me compared to many similar styles. The upper material feels breathable and reasonably comfortable, and the fit stayed secure without feeling restrictive. I didn’t experience any major rubbing or hot spots during casual use, which speaks well to the overall construction. However, running was a different story. While the shoes handled walking well, they didn’t translate effectively to higher-impact movement for my foot type. I started to feel significant discomfort before reaching even half a mile, and it became clear these aren’t suited for running if you have flat feet or need more specialized support. The heel height, while manageable for walking, seems to contribute to that issue during runs. In terms of versatility, I would say these are best suited for walking, light workouts, or everyday wear rather than running. Aesthetically, they look good and feel like a reasonable value if your primary use is casual or low-impact activity. Overall, I would recommend these to people with neutral or higher arches who want a comfortable, all-day shoe. For those with flat feet—especially if you plan to run—you may want to look for something with more tailored support.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These shoes were comfortable right out of the box and I didn’t have to spend a week breaking them in. I also really liked how lightweight they felt but that they still have plenty of support. The cushioning is soft without feeling too squishy, and the rocker design made my runs feel a little smoother. The knit upper is breathable, so my feet stayed cooler and didn’t feel sweaty even after longer runs. The fit stayed secure the whole time without my heel slipping around. I also like that they don’t look like a typical bulky running shoe. I’ve worn them with jeans after the gym and they still look good. I’d definitely buy another pair!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried these shoes on grass, trails, pavement, the track, and in the gym on a treadmill. I think I just found a new running shoe. Normally, I wear 3 different running shoes depending on where I am running but these were great everywhere I run. I love how supportive they are just also feel cushiony. Some shoes will move around when you are running on the trail but these were great. I would probably still use a different shoe for trail running but if you only want one shoe for all running surfaces, these fit the bill. I personally would have liked a little color but the dark was great as it did not show dust/dirt as much. All around wonderful shoe. I will definitely get another pair when it is time for new shoes.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been really happy with these shoes so far. They’re comfortable enough for both running and workouts, and the cushioning feels soft but not too squishy. I still feel supported when I’m moving, especially during those longer walks and runs. The upper feels lightweight and breathable. My feet don’t feel overly hot after wearing them for a while, and the fit is secure but not tight. They feel good right away, from the moment I put them on, and they keep feeling good throughout the day, too. One of my favorite things is, honestly, how versatile they are. I can wear them for running, strength workouts, walking errands, or just as an everyday casual shoe. It’s nice not having to swap between different pairs depending on what I’m doing. They have a sporty vibe, but they stay simple and stylish enough for casual outfits. Considering the comfort, support, versatility, and overall design, I think they’re a good value for the price. Overall, they’ve been a very practical and comfortable addition to my routine.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been rotating the Revel Max into my everyday runs and errands, and they hit that sweet spot between soft cushioning and a smooth roll forward. The warp knit upper feels stretchy and snug without squeezing, and the DNA Loft v2 foam gives a light bounce that makes longer walks feel easier. What surprised me most is how stable they feel for a shoe this soft no wobble on turns, no heel slip. They’ve become the pair I grab when I want comfort without looking like I’m wearing running shoes.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pleasantly surprised! I’ve run in a variety of Brooks shoes, from the high-end Glycerin Max down to the lower-tier Launch and Revel, and sort of expected these to be “budget+.” Not so! The Revel Max is a genuinely solid, mileage daily trainer - a workhorse, if you will. Not as much pop as something like the Glycerin Max but a more lively ride, in my opinion, than the Ghost or even Ghost Max.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I liked the shoe, but it wasn’t right for me. Very nice looking, and comfortable to wear, but I needed more cushioning, and a bigger toe box, so I returned it and bought the Ghost Max 3, and these are great. I had worn these a few days, and the return went smoothly, with no issues. Brooks really means it when they say hassle free returns!
