Great All-purpose

Wow! Having worn Adrenaline and Beast models for years, I wasn't sure what to expect from the Trace, but it has been a welcome surprise. Fits well, breathes easily, durable exterior, light construction...very happy with it!

Better fit than the ghost. Wide toe bed is fantastic. Feels like I'm not wearing shoes

Great Disappointment

I bought these in September for my teenage son, who is a cross country runner. I also bought a pair of Brooks Ghost 15 for him at the same time. This was his 4th pair of Brooks. By the middle of November they were coming apart and ripped, as shown in the photos. It is now May, and he is still wearing the Ghost 15s I bought at the same time, with normal wear but nothing like this. The other pairs he had previously did not exhibit this sort of breakdown. I'm severely disappointed that these Brooks Trace were unwearable within 90 days of purchase, ESPECIALLY for the price! I prefer Brooks for myself, and both of my teenagers love them, but this pair was a great disappointment. I contacted Brooks directly just to let them know that there was a quality issue somewhere and was basically told it wasn't their problem. I have not had issues with other pairs I've bought in the past, but I'm uncertain I will choose to buy them again with the response I received.

Good Beginner Shoe

It’s a beginner running shoe and works as advertised for that. Training for my first half marathon and it will carry me through that run. Will be looking at a step up Brooks shoe here shortly, possibly a pair of Ghost.

Excellent Shoe

Excellent fit, it's my go to now. Fit is wonderful and airy, lighter shoe but flexible and wears well

A Near Miss

This model is a little more narrow than I am used to. That in turn affects the support and stability. For Style it is still one of the best. 70 miles in and am already thinking of replacing them. I have feet issues and am very tough on my shoes . overall Brooks are my go to, but, the trace will not be on the list. Back to the adrenaline?? We will see.

Very Comfortable

The shoes are very comfortable and feel great during the run. Great price for a great shoe.

Went In For A Second Pair

Great support. This is my second pair of Trace 2 shoes. The tread lasts even with road running.
