Miss The Old Style
I prefer the previous style more. The new style isn’t as comfortable around the waistband nor does it rise up as high as the older style, they seem shorter in the front and the back is too baggy for my preference. I do wonder how they will stretch out so I’m going to keep them because my older black ones are tearing but I don’t know that I will buy another pair if they don’t go back to the old style.

Cool And Comfortable Fit
The length is great and not restricting at all. Very comfortable brief underneath as well and waistband feels barely there. Bought two on sale and wish I had bought more at the price. These are my new favorite summer running shorts. Could have probably gone with a small but at 67 have a bit of a belly so opted for a looser fit. The band does move around a bit but once I start sweating it’s perfect (and in summer in SC that happens in minutes). Love these shorts.

Great Fit, Beautiful Blue
Great fit - hardly know I’m wearing them. Size small, waist 27 hips 38. Side zipper pocket is nice touch to keep small items in place and out of the way. Blue bell color is beautiful.

No A Fan Of The Update
These have been my absolute favorite shorts for years. I have several pairs. I didn't realize that they changed them until I wore my new pair. The pocket in the back is smaller, and I can no longer fit my phone in it. The material is thinner and rides up and is a bit see through. Brooks please please bring back the old style!!

Thin Fabric, Liner Seams Show On "Cheeks"!
I have several pairs of these from previous years, and I love them! But .... in this current edition, Brooks changed the fabric- it is now thinner and you can see the liner's seams on your backside "cheeks" through the material. Brooks, this is so tacky and a big turnoff! Please bring back your higher quality thicker, softer fabric. But aside from the downgraded fabric, the color is a beautiful summer shade and the wide waistband is flat against the skin and very comfortable.
